Now wait... reference to the ark is referencing a global genocidal act by a vengeful and angry God who spared only the smallest fraction of the Earth's population in some sort of heavy handed cleansing process.

      Wishful thinking, Glenn?

Ah Boiy! You're happy because a bunch of otherwise decent Americans are refusing to sit in the back of the bus-to crazytown! I am really quite curious what his plans for next year are. How far will he get? How much damage can he do with the nutjobs who will swallow the wrong pill and jump into the ark or get on the bus with him. He has millions of dollars, he can afford to make a fool of himself and never work again, but what about the average people? And the average working liberals who could get damaged by the accusations. What about them? They will be victims and he will laugh all the way to the back.

Yea, that is a real possibility and it should scare us. I don't think Glenn would do anything to himself, but there are some scared, weak people out there and they could be hurt or hurt others.

Beck is reading history books now and reliving it He thinks in his hea is a history professor. His "be afrai " thing yesteray is the irect result of watching the History Channelan believing everything you hear, such as our founing fathers having roots in the Templars, defenders of the holy grail. There was a claimmade that benjamin Franklin was a templar.

I will grant you that. He does seem to think he is a History Professor, and he has watched one too many shows on the Hysterical Channel. He was recycling a 70s era conspiracy on his show yesterday (Clotard-Piven). He has read too much of Mormon Crackpot, Skousen and is caught in a time warp. Unfortunately, too many people are joining him in their reading and viewing material.

He's an alternative history professor. In his version of history white people sat at the back of the bus and Hitler was a socialist.

Glenn Beck should be a character in The Man In The High Castle.

He'd never make it in a Harry Turtledove novel.

            "alternative history professor"

Yes, that is true, especially in the SciFi, alternate universe/bizzaro kind of way. I loved how Skousen said that the Black slaves cheerfully trooped up the gang plank of the slave ship to come to America, but they were deliberately lazy and slow working. It would seem to be a contradiction in descriptions, but that can happen in SciFi and alternative worlds.

That's exactly what I meant. He thinks he's V but he's really Lewis Prothero.

Beck's message works only if they play the victim. If they are the outcasts being abused... it's laughable

For all the whining and ranting that he and the Teabaggers have been shouting about for the last 8 months... I defy them to demonstrate one meaningful way that President Obama's administration has hurt them! Not potential, not slippery slope, not symbolic... I want to see a personal anectodote of how their rights, freedoms, or opportunities have been hindered by the new administration.

I personally know dozens of people who have struggled with their health insurance companies to get treatments. Unable to MediCal (medicaid) because they had $2,000 in the bank when they were trying to get treatment for brain cancer. Divorced on paper in order to bankrupt himself in order to qualify for Leukemia treatments because he was denied by his insurance company.

These are people who have personal reasons to be angered by the system. The people who are protesting now speak of fear of govt. control when there is no evidence of it. Fake fear inducing boogey men like ACORN and SEIU.

What it comes down to is that these rich White people have theirs and are afraid that it's going to be taken away from them. Well the truth is, the risk of losing what you have was the same in 2008 as it is in 2009, but now they have someone they can blame.

what republic exactly has been taken from the likes of Beck and those who espouse these same comments, such as " we want our country back ",,,i'd like for someone to explain to me what statements like these means....his trying to link his comments along with what happened during the civil rights movement is shameful irresponsible and extremely divisive...seems Beck is trying to incite his base to think that something is being taken away from them by having a Black President..again the far right using fear of a black man to make the case for their agenda,,when will the responsible republican leaders speak out against the likes of Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity,Coulter, Malkin and the rest of these people that play on peoples fears. dont people realize that this is a very dangerous rhetoric being tossed about in a very cavalier way? its sickening to see this type of stuff continue each and every day

And thus did the man who ran an entire special asking "Why on Earth don't black people adore me?" answer his own question. So far this week we've been child rapists AND segregationists, and I already knew we were Nazi Hitlers of fascist Hitlerism. Whatever could be next?

They can sit in the front of the bus if they want, if they promise to be quiet. I think that's a fair trade off.

Forget Beck stupidity for a moment and read below:

Republicans provide a lot data that can be used against them in the next election

If the Democrats wanted to use Republicans’ words and actions against them in the next Presidential election they would have a lifetime of data.
You could start with the general election with Republican candidates John McCain and Sarah Palin. 98% of their campaign was attacks, criticism and negative ads. Their vision for America and policy took a back seat.
It is a fact that most of what they accused their opponent of was falsehoods, and in many cases out-right lies. For example: There is tons of footage at lynch mob rallies of them calling a fellow American Presidential hopeful a "communist", "Marist" and "un-American". On top of that both of them sat back and did nothing while some in attendance yelled "off with his head", "kill the ni*%er" and "he is a terrorist" referring to Barack Obama (John finally said something about a week later). Since losing the Presidency to Barack Obama all they do is criticize and attack while trying to obstruct him from doing his job.
Republicans in general have abandoned their "core principles, values and responsibility" to the American people and replaced it with out-right lies, distortion and miss-representation, and they do so with no shame and no regard to TV cameras.
They show no interest in the well being of the American people, instead most of their time is spent attacking and criticizing the President. Republicans are proud to go on the record and state that they opposed universal affordable healthcare for the American people. Not caring or knowing how that will look in the next election. One politician, ignoring the well being of the American people, said "Healthcare will be Obama's waterloo". Meaning.. If we deny Obama a Healthcare victory his presidency will be a failure. Republicans are more interested in an Obama failure then they are about the good the welfare of the American people.
As I said above there is plenty of data and it grows by the day. Stupidity is an on going thing with Republicans today and they are providing America with a lot of nonsense that could be used against them in the future.

Who's civil rights is getting took Becky? What is the reason to suggest someone will lose their freedom. The reason why our country is like this is because of your right-wing political friends. You are throwing nothing but smears confusing people about the actual truth.

glenn beck, if you're going to use an ACTUAL struggle against a REAL injustice that still affects the lives of most African Americans and later helped to greatly influence the lives of women for your own petty partisan insanity support group you can go to hell.
