Was that before or after he said autistic children were faking and needed to be verbally abused more often?

I refuse to call this man by his chosen stage name. His name is Michael Weiner I'm not sure if its pronounced Weenr or Whiner but I find this real name far more befitting his character and actions.

wow, how crazy do you have to be to think that savage is a pillar of common sense. i think the dems should send this clip out to the good congressman's constituents so that they can see just what kind of beliefs the man who represents them holds.

So what's your problem with Savage? So you don't like his politics, that's fine. But that doesn't mean the man has no common sense.

What about all the work he's done in the field of epidemiology? That all goes out the window because he thinks our borders should be secure. Gee, that makes a lot of common sense.

He has done no, none, zero work in the field of epidemiology.

He does have a PHD in ethnomedicine (folk medicine).

What, did you do a wiki search and now you know everything he's done?

His books deal with preventive medicine, which deals with epidemiology. Just because his degree isn't specifically in epidemiology, that does not mean that he has not contributed to epidemiology. Epidemiology encompasses ethnomedicine.

Savage wrote a thesis in a field that was basically fabricated so UC could collect his tuition money. To say that he has either "contributed to" or "worked in" the field of epidemiology is a gross exaggeration. I'm sure that Weiner may haved cited a few statistics in his thesis too--but that neither makes him a statistician nor a mathematician. If you want to demonstrate that Weiner has, in fact, made a contribution to the field of epidemiology then show me an article in a peer reviewed journal of epidemiology that he has either authored or co-authored. Or, so it is easier for you, produce the title of an article published in a peer reviewed journal where anything Weiner has either said or written is cited. But let me save you the trouble. I checked Web of Science (a massive database used for checking such things) and there are none. Or, in other words, in the field of epidemiology he is a nobody--a non-entity--a crude joke. Basically Savage Weiner is a hate-filled, loud mouthed, demented punk who at one time in his life had it together enough to convince his teachers to award him a doctorate. But since then nothing. He has expertise in nothing except shooting his mouth off and it is only because his demented rants help his corporate masters advance their agenda that he is paid to do anything. Otherwise his life is pathetic and worthless.

Terror is a tool, a weapon, a tactic. Terror has been with mankind since the beginning of time and will always be here. You can't declare a war on a tactic.

Problem is this really is a law enforcement problem not military. Most successful preventative measures are done by law enforcement agencies that prevent acts of terror. We can't invade every nation that contains citizens who hold anti-American sentiment. In fact, some of our actions foster anti-American attitudes. I would have mush rather have used diplomacy and cooperation to arrest and try those responsible for 9-11 than invade entire nations and still not have those responsible held accountable.

I'm an American & can say without doubt that I share none of the same values with people like Michael Savage. Does that make people like me not American? savage can talk all he wants he just has to realize that what you say has consequences in society. I don't see this as any different than the no fly list. savage you reap what you sow. savages entire body or work is the approximation of yelling fire in public when there isn't one. Eventually management gets tired and puts ya out.

The whole on the same list as killers bit gets a solo from the world's smallest violin. There are many lists that people get on that put them with people who have done crimes 10X greater. There is the sex offender list, no fly list, and very ambiguous charges. Reminds of the many stories of high school senior who were charged with statutory rape when they were 18 for sleeping with a 17 year olds and are questioned to the Nth degree just to get a job because they're on the sex offender list.

Hey they can ban him if they want....would be a false equivalency. It's nice to see you dusting off the old playbook and bringing back one of your favorite bogeymen but there really isn't a comparison. Wright said that the government used it as population control and it wouldn't be a first that the government was involved with shady matters with dealing with homosexuals and ethnicity. They only released a while ago that the government was spying on and threatening Dr. MLK Jr. right before he was assassinated.
