Sure you would, Mike. If there was a buffet table in the nest, perhaps.

I love these would-be war hero talk show host tough guys. They gladly serve their nation in combat if they could only eras the yellow streak up their back.

The only way Weiner would ever charge a machine-gun nest is with his credit card.

The left is habitually opposed to our military, so I'm sure that MORE people here did NOT serve.

Wait, what side is for increased medical benefits for veterans? Also, which president rejected the military's assessment of troops needed in Iraq? I agree, serving in the military gives you some perspective when dealing with these matters, what's your view on Bush/Cheney then?

More of that certainty the right is so fond of.

I'm sure the majority of people who argue on any site, liberal or conservative have not served.

Your statement, about the left being habitually opposed to our military makes as much sense as saying that the leaders on the right support the military as long as it's someone else's child, father, mother sister or brother who actually puts on the uniform.

You're right. The left supports our military, but they just don't think there is EVER any reason to use it.

That is called fact-free prejudice, dork.

This veteran on the left is definitely opposed to militarism, not the military itself.

What do you mean by fact-free?

I live in Olympia, WA. The hippie scum-bags regularly protest against OUR military. Maybe I overstep by associating the whole left with such people, but it sickens me, bro.

It sickens me to see these punk kids downing our men and women, when I put my life on the line. For what?

So you fight for the freedom of citizens of the USA but you don't like when you disagree with how those citizens use that freedom?

Ummm ok. But see, here's the rub, I dislike the weiner because he's a proven liar. He also mocks people less fortunate than himself, which is in poor taste. He is paid well and has a national platform to do this.
But individuals exercising their right to freedom of assembly and freedom of speech somehow deserve your scorn?
                          Why am I not surprised?

Against the military members themselves or against the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan?

I've been attending anti war demonstrations for more than forty years and have never witnessed anyone downing our men and women.

Being anti-war, or being against a certain war, does not make anyone anti-military.

A very, very, very hard concept for conservatives to grasp.
