So what? They can't say "Merry Christmas"? Maybe fox should add their own name to the boycott list.

Aw, they're not going to waste a perfectly good "Merry Christmas" on a heathen like Obama, what with the war on and all. Think, man. Think!

Okay, snark off for a moment. I guess it's good to see this little exchange.

Since it's not yet Thanksgiving, he said "holiday" season. That includes Xmas and Thanksgiving and New Year's.

I don't think this means what you all think it means.

Interestingly enough, saying something like "Xian" to refer to Christians isn't actually derogatory. X is the Greek symbol for Christ. Not really sure about its usage in Xmas, though.

I was actually making a reference to this:

On the November 30 edition of Fox News' Your World with Neil Cavuto, Bill O'Reilly continued his campaign to promote use of the holiday greeting "Merry Christmas" in retail stores. His effort to combat retail stores he believes are replacing "Merry Christmas" with the nondenominational "Happy Holidays" is part of his broader mission "to rescue" the Christmas holiday from "secular progressives."

I happy to see the usual stupid comments coming from the enlightened progressives here. Garret's comments were quite appropriate considering they cover 3 major holidays , Thanksgiving , Christmas and New Years. Of course the fools here, including the dweebs at MMFA , don't realize that. They mislead again and focus only on Christmas. And of course the enlightened folks here fall right in line. Pavlov's Dog circa 2009.

Be sure to let Bill-O know...

NULMAN: "Season's Greetings" and "Happy Holidays," Bill, does not offend Christians.

O'REILLY: Yes, it does. It absolutely does. And I know that for a fact. But the smart way to do it is "Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Season's Greetings, Happy Kwanzaa."

O'Reilly has gone after those who ban the use of Merry Christmas. Garrett on the other hand was expressing wishes to Obama encompassing the entire holiday season which would include Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. His comments were quite appropriate and in no way contrary to anything anyone has said about the War on Christmas. And for MMFA to focus on this and ignore the rest of the interview shows their pettiness and stupidity. Not to mention those who join in.

But at the same time I should mention the other people who expressed support for Garrett , there were more than I would have thought. Kudos to those folks.

Yet after that segment they will continue to bash the POTUS all the way through the holiday season. Nice way for FOX Snooze to say they are sorry with their fingers crossed.

It is not even Thankgiving, should he have said Merry Christmas? Your comments are just ridiculous and indicate your mind is not open at all. Shut tight would be more like it.

This thread is a perfect example of just how useless the dweebs at MMFA are and the lack of value to this site. Picture this, a major cable news organization , the number 1 news org in fact, does an interview with the president of the US. MMfa covers it and thinks it is important enough to present on their site. A site devoted to the exposure of conservative mis-information. Do they cover the questions asked by the reporter, no. Do they cover the answers given by the POTUS, no. Do they cover anything of substance in the interview, no. They cover the fact that the reporter wished the POTUS "a very happy and joyous 2009 holiday season"

Wow , what groundbreaking journalism, simply stunning.

You liberals must be very proud indeed to have such a cutting edge organization on your side.
