Gee, Bernie, that is enlightened. By your reasoning, Billo's followers are all Irish and yours are all Jewish. That is patently absurd. (Everyone knows that you and Bill only have idiots as followers.)

Note to Bill: Bernie does not count as your token liberal. He is your token putz.

Hey Bernie most caucasion people think Sarah Palin is a loon too. Use a better answer next time Bernie! LOL! Also a majority of minorities think she is a loon also. It is not about race.

You know who else isn't Al Sharpton or Lil Kim? That one.

Kind of puts the lie to Goldberg's thesis, no?

Nope, it doesn't. In fact there is no relationship what so ever.

Well, if we are to believe that Sarah Palin only has white followers because she is white, how do we explain all the white "followers" that voted for President Obama?

Obviously, the color of her skin has nothing to do with her appeal - it is the color of her message.

In light of the fact that Goldberg said that her followers are white because she is a conservative makes your comment irrevelant. He , in effect did say it was her message.

The relationship is starkly, blatantly, apparently obvious.

1 -- Goldberg's thesis is that only white people like Palin, and only because Palin is white.

2 -- Goldberg's extrapolation of this "fact" is that only black people like Al Sharpton and Lil Kim, and only because Sharpton and Kim are black.

3 -- Barack Obama is black.

4 -- Barack Obama was elected president.

5 -- Barack Obama must have received support from white people, since it's not possible to become president with the votes of only black people.

The sum of 1 through 5: Therefore, Barack Obama's election win (despite McCain's racism) disproves Goldberg's thesis.

Faillib's last appearance featured him thinking he totally stumping us by asking why Barack Obama didn't serve in Vietnam. Let's take a moment to remember that, because it was beautiful in its stupidity.

She is amazing. She is also the one who defended her crush, Bill O'Reilly, by declaring the Paris Business Review real and by directing us to a phony site she failed to realize was satire. She is good for laughs, though.

Actually you should listen closer, he states that they are white because she is a conservative, and in case you were not aware most blacks are liberal.

That fact makes the rest of your points meaningless.

Interesting logic, as always, on your part Faily. I listen just fine, just not with the crazy ears.

Goldbeg says "she's a conservative woman from Alaska, she's not Al Sharpton or Lil' Kim".

I don't know if Lil' Kim's politics are common knowledge, but there is a common factor between her and Sharpton. It may be subliminal to you, and require you doing some twisting to come up with your explanation and interpretation. It's obvious to anybody not soaked in Kool-Aid.

It's your "fact" that's meaningless, and my point may be meaningless to you, but that's because you're working very hard at ignoring it.

Goldberg also asks if BilldO thinks a lot of black people watch his show. You could also try to convince yourself that this is because most blacks aren't conservative (although that means you can't really buy O'Reilly's "fair and balanced independent" BS), but unless you're truly hypnotized, you'd have to consider that many black people might not want to listen to a man who is surprised that black people aren't shouting "bring me some iced tea, M-F-er" in a restaurant.

Actually Fairlib you are incorrect. Most of us have conservative views especially in the areas of homosexuality and religion so I'm wondering where you got your information from. Stereotyping "Blacks" as liberals is incorrect and lazy thinking or do you have evidence to back up your assertion?

Faillib just posts irrelevant opinions and interpretations, then calls them facts. He's been trained by the right wing media to think this makes things true.

I think Bill secretly enjoyed telling Bernie that Jon Stewart ''cursed him out''. Bernie kind of threw Palin under the bus while trying to defend himself against Jon's attack. Thanks Jon Stewart.

Goldberg's comments are spot on again, particularly his comments about Matthew's stupidity and the lack of viewers. His explanation about Palin's followers are no more unusual than Marion Barry's followers being all black.

I'll assume you meant to say everyone who voted for Marion Barry is black. Really? Didn't you know black people aren't the majority in DC, and that a large portion of black people in DC, for whatever reason, don't vote? So, the only thing that makes your comparison any better than Bernie's is you used somebody actually in politics. Oh, wait...Sarah Palin isn't in politics anymore. I forgot that she QUIT. I guess I was wrong. Your comparison is every bit as stupid as Bernie's. BTW, I watch Chris Matthews' show and I am, in fact, black.

      Here's an idea...

Bill, since you seem to have some influence with her, why not invite Sarah to extend her book tour to that eating establishment you visited?

You remember, right? The one where no one was yelling "mutha-effer this, mutha-effer that."

There is definitely a hole in his logic. According to him a majority of rappers should be drawing mostly black crowds wherever they go....but every single black person could stop buying rap albums and their sales would still be through the roof. Like Ludacris said "If it wasn't for the white people, I wouldn't be selling 2 to 3 million records and sh*t ... I love y'all."

I really think that Ethnics especially blacks weren't there because of all those hang him and kill that ni**er instances you heard at her rallies. Also most ethnic's don't live in her "reel america". It's sad if you really think about it... people in DC voted in a crack head cause he was doing a good job so you think an idiot could get some votes if she actually sounded like she would do a good job.

I think it is extremly rude & offensive that Bernie suggested the reason black people weren't at Sarah Palins book signing ordeal was because it wasnt a Lil Kim or Al Sharpton event as if the only time black people find it necessary to come out is to support somebody like Lil Kim, Since when did Lil Kim represent all black people ?? how about President Barack Obama and for the record Im black and I watch Chris Matthews Hard ball,Bernie you made yourself look pretty darn ignorant & close minded..and if a "conservative woman" is expected to only draw white crowds why is there even talk about her becoming or even running for the President of The United States..she has to reach a variety of people this country is made up of all different types of races, religions and beliefs and Bernie you made it quite clear you believe she cant.

      I don't get it . . .

The rightwingnuts are constantly saying how "most (or all) black people voted for Obama" -- and portray that as negative . . .

So, why's Bernie saying, in effect, its OK that Palin's supporters are all white?

He is putting forth a perfectly reasonable explanation for why that crowd was white, nothing more. In response to another attempt to make race an issue, this time by an idiot from MSNBC. In the last few days we have seen another attempt at playing the race card , this time by Jesse Jackson. They just hate to give up an effective political tactic.

Who is "they"? Yeah because we know conservative commentators don't bring up race at all. I'm just imagining things when Limbaugh and Beck use race on a daily basis. IMHO Matthews didn't need to point out the fact that Palin supporters are all white, that's like telling me water is wet. Matthews is the kind of guy who feels like he has to explain a joke when you don't laugh at it. You don't laugh because you didn't get it but because it wasn't funny.
