Fascists (a socioeconomic and political construct) who are considered far right advocate for single party states in which individual liberties and equalities are irrelevant when compared to the desires and goals of the party and state which are one and the same. They opposes class conflict and consider liberal democracies to be an enemy of the state concept because it stresses individual liberties, freedoms and equalities at the expense of the state. fASCISTS also consider communism and socialism to be direct threats and oppose economic motivation focusing on glorification on the state and figureheads rather than a classless society which no fascist advocates for and usually works against.
Socialism is an economic construct unlike the two above which focuses on classlessness and workers owning the means of production. This is purely rooted in being an opposition to capitalism. Socialists would consider fascism a threat although one is more of a government and state construct and the other is economic, there is no doubt the two could not co-exist in any way.
Communism is an all encompassing socioeconomic and political construct which is the only thing it shares with fascism. It is rooted directly in the work of Karl marx which basically describes how to implement a classless, stateless, egalitarian society in which there are no personal possessions and everything is shared by the people based on their needs. It is also a way in which revolution can bring about such a utopia. It is really just a figment of one's imagination and could never actually be implemented in society but is more like the ideal society in which greed disappears.
None of these are the same. Most are direct contradictions. Socialism is only one mere aspect of communism. Liberalism is only a political philosophy and by no means a socioeconomic system itself. Nearly all liberals advocate for social capitalism and NOT pure socialism which is seen by most as a failed system in its pure form. Fascism is highly contradictory to all the above.
To say something is liberal, socialist, communist and fascist is IMPOSSIBLE. These things cannot be combined in one entity in any way, shape or form. Hitler despised both liberals and communists. Stalin hated fascists and liberalism. Marx thought capitalism was the root of all evil which almost all liberals support in one way or another. Kennedy (a self-described liberal) believed communism was a threat to America's way of life. FDR (another person who could be described as liberal) fought fascism in world war II.
Good to know.
