Boy I wish we had some strong sedition laws just so we could make sure this idiot who thinks he is a brain would stop abusing the airwaves. This comment is so treasonous it is not even funny Rush. Quit while you are still a tiny bit sane ... wait it is to late for that.

The Fairness Doctrine was a policy of the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC), introduced in 1949, that required the holders of broadcast licenses both to present controversial issues of public importance and to do so in a manner that was (in the Commission's view) honest, equitable and balanced.

Thanks to Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton! No longer all that strong!

Rush Limbaugh is in favor of a military coup against the elected President of the United States.

      THAT IS TREASON. Period.

Yea but does Rush get convicted of treason if someone else takes action on his call just now?

The next time Hannity, O'reilly et al. say Palin is the most persecuted by the media or "where is the outrage on the left" when a democrat says something quite mild in comparison about a republican - I might become ill.

Rush and his ilk are nothing more than America-hating traitors. They lose an election and want to destroy the country.

The president has said he intends to finish the job in Afghanistan. A pity shrub and the other right-wing chickenhawks in his regime didn't commit to that. Osama bin Laden, you remember him, the mastermind of 9/11, might well have been dead or in custody by now if they had. Rush is the loser and those who believe him are just as pathetic.

Rush Limbaugh needs to be considered a Traitor. He has committed Treason...

Oran's Dictionary of the Law (1983) defines treason as: "...[a]...citizen's actions to help a foreign government overthrow, make war against, or seriously injure the [parent nation]." In many nations, it is also often considered treason to attempt or conspire to overthrow the government, even if no foreign country is aided or involved by such an endeavour.

As a veteran, I take a dim view of those that went out of their way to avoid service. I have no problem for those who never felt the need to join, but when someone goes out of their way to avoid service, then supports war that others must fight in, all I can see is cowardice. Limbaugh is a slug. I have stood at many a military funeral for my comrades in arms, they are forever young; my daughter joined the Navy and was on the carrier USS Carl Vinson,...Limbaugh, in his insolence is a reprehensible sub-human that does his "fighting" from an air conditioned room, (should be a padded room), in a well padded chair. He insulted my daughter, myself and all who have served.

I fought for this nation when it asked me to. I defended Limbaugh's Right to open his clap-trap I get "thanked" for my service with a request for a coup...wtf!

As for women in the military, as a Medical Plt Sgt, I can tell you, they are dedicated, brave and patriotic, often more so than their male counterparts. I am proud to have served with them. I would have been ashamed to have been in the same unit as Limbaugh...he is the lowest of the low, a lazy shirker, a dud, that would have gotten many killed. Calling for a "coup", makes him a traitor.
