What surprised me the most about this is that Howard Dean would go on Fox. Why? Why set yourself up to be clipped and distorted later by them? As several people smarter than I am have pointed out, it's not really a news organization. It's the house organ of the Republican Party.

Yep. It is wonderful to have your TV show on a smear machine network that makes a claim that a health care clinic should operate like a Wal-Mart.

Notice how he dodged the question when asked about his chances: 50/50, less than that or more than that.

I'm betting Mike's chances of a presidential run may have tanked if the news out of Seattle turns out to be true. Seems that when he was governor, Mike released a man serving a life term who Seattle cops are looking at for the killing today of four police officers.

I'm sure the right will either ignore this or find some way to blame Obama.

      Translation:

I'll stay on Fox where I can make big $$ and be pretty safe from criticisms and challenges. I wouldn't want to be smeared and attacked the same way Fox and my show on Fox are doing to Obama.

There's just a little too much Insider Trading/Incestuousness abot a Fox "News" host asking a Fox talk show host if he's going to run for President. "The Flintstones meets the Jetsons" had more legitimate news value. This is all about boosting Huckabee's Saturday night ratings. Of COURSE he's going to run again. But it's November, 2009, you moron. NOBODY asked about an election three years off says "yes, I'm running." The question itself is just a stupid waste of time- or, as I implied above, a plug for Huckabee's show.

The segment was also "teased" by the host "pointing out" that a recent poll of Iowa Republicans shows Huckabee substantially ahead in that caucus state. And as we all know, if you are ahead in Iowa three years before the caucus, you've got that caucus sewn up. Groan.

Do you think maybe he likes working for Fox News because they allow him to be a mouth piece for the "Manhattan Declaration" movement now spreading across the nation?

Remember one thing - a large percentage of Republican Campaign Donations come from the group refered to as the Moral Majority. Isn't Mr. Huckabee an ordained Southern Baptist Minister?

Pretty nice when you can get paid a good salary to persuade folks to contribute to your political action committee three years prior to the next presidential election campaign.

Dana Parino LIED saying that Bush never criticized South Asian leaders in public..

Both Bush and Cheeney castigated and embarrassed the President of Pakistan, in press conferences, in front of his own people. Making him look like their US stooge and his people feel humiliated like a Banana Republic. It is one of the elements that has contributed to making our efforts there so very difficult.

Not to mention the ABSURD actions by Bush to validate India's atomic weapons (which they have had since the 1970s) and by doing so it was like flicking the Republican nails in the eyes of the Iranians and making it much harder to persuade them not to do development.

By contrast, The Obama administration has been EXTREMELY sensitive to the people of Afghanistan who have seen the corruption of their government, first hand, by challenging
Karazai to do better, and praising him for speeches he made outlining his efforts going forward.

Fact is that it was Bill Clinton who went to Pakistan twice at his peril to reestablish relations with Pakistan. And it was the Pakistanis who captured the high value detainees and nothing that Mr. Bush did.

What he did do was such things as taking out Arab speaking Special forces, sent them to Iraq and sent in Spanish speakers. How stupid. This not to mention 8 years of Benign neglect (rather than taking advantage of the blank slate that had been created). This has allowed corruption and the drug trade to flourish so people could survive. And reminds one of when Bush1 dropped Afghanistan on the floor with led to the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. Not to mention Cheney trying to do business with the Taliban **AFTER** THE SS. KOHL HAD BEEN ATTACKED BY THEIR BUDDIES AL QUAEDS.

Another lie that went unchallangeD on that show, was the claim by the Republican that the CBO said that the Republican health plan would save families $5,000 off their premiums WHAT A LIE!

Of course, Huck; that's perfectly understandable.

After all, as POTUS, you'd have to do things like

      - be accountable for your words and actions
      - tell the truth
      - answer tough questions at press conferences
      - do actual research on various subjects

No wonder you think this Fox gig is "really, really wonderful" -- you NEVER have to worry about such piffling details!! XD

not a very surprising answer from huckabee, as im sure he loves the fanfare he receives from his fox news show. but at least he isnt spewing the typical fox rhetoric. many people forget that he was probably one of the more sensible candidates during the election. granted, he is a big evangelist, but even the likes of ann coulter cant stand him, so that must mean he isnt too bad. but his fox show sucks... his guests are lame and, correct me if im wrong, but his audience lacks so much diversity that its sickening to watch. i may have seen an african american here and there a few times, but its rare.

I'm glad someone is doing some racial profiling on a news channel. Now go to MSNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC. How many minorities do they have on camera? Last count? One out of all of them: Lester Holt. Oh thats right....for the left its all based on intentions not actions. My question is How do you people live in your pathetic altered realities?
