This is not the only church someone has attended, and kissed butt to get a job. This includes everything from a job scooping poop in a chicken processing plant,to running fortune 500 companies.

True enough. It's not like this guy is telling us that he had to attend a certain church in order to get a GOVERNMENT job.

I don't mind being reminded, every now and then, that the Washington Times is owned by a cult and is not to be taken seriously as a "news" source, however.

Not sure what you mean in your first pgh. Religious discrimination is illegal in the private sector too, if the employer has more than 15 employees. So I'm not sure that it's any better if it goes on in a private org. vs. a government job. It's bad news either way, IMHO.

IT'S NOT A RELIGION!!! IT'S A CULT. Moon bought an estate in New York and began recruiting kids to live there. Most of the kids had some trade skills so they could make repairs on the buildings. They sold Roses at intersections and holiday cards in local stores. In the late 70's Moon tried to take control of the local (Tarrytown, New York) government by buying a substantial number of residences in one voting district. He filled those houses with as many Moonies as possible hoping to gain a majority vote and place other Moonies into office in upcoming elections. Fortunately the town enforced an old zoning law that stated that private residences could only be occupied by no more then 3 non family members foiling Moons attempt to take over the town.

Thanks for the info on Tarrytown. I live a few miles south of it, and had never heard the story.

On a lighter note, the Unification "Church" owns the New Yorker Hotel, which takes up a full block on 8the Ave, between 34th and 35th Streets. Across 8th Ave there used to be a shop which displayed a large poster of a woman, shot from the rear. She had a full mane of straight black hair, so long and thick that it covered her shoulders and back, down to the top of her ample butt, which was exposed. The caption read:
