After eight years of George Bush and his right wing policies, the word unprecedented is most likely an understatement.

I thought Fox news was the serial overuser of "unprecedented"?

Gretchen should also ask Dana about the Cuban Missle Crisis. Some say Dana showed an unprecedented level of ignorance for a presidential press secretary when she couldn't recall exactly what all that hubbub was about.

I can't look at her when she speaks. Nothing sinks in. I am too distracted by her waxy balloon lips.

Just take a gander at the still from the video above. It's like a clown face frozen in time.

The term that best describes Gretchen Carlson: vacuous.

Further a term used to much, notably by the above, is disingenuous. For a while it appeared it was her new vocab. word of the month.

I love it when folks on this website ridicule a person's appearance when they don't like what they say. Classy!

Is this the whole reason that idioitic web sites like Politico exists? Just to create this kind of crazy theme and draw it out?

Let us also not forget that Politico also made a BIG deal about Obama not inviting women to his basketball games or golf outings ...

Remember that scandal of epic proportions? My latest favorite Politico scandal coverage involves the climate emails. The article pretty much is just the right wing's latest take on them. Awesome.

Fox News questioning the overuse of a word?

Hey, could we bring back the "Red Scare" Scoreboard? If Fox News is so concerned about the overuse of a word, perhaps they should be more aware of their overuse of certain words (i.e. "Communism", "Fascism", "Socialism")?

I see now how the attacks on the Obama administration are going from the right wing.

First it's, "Look how BIG this bill is! We can't possibly think of voting for something that BIG!!!"

Then it's, "Let's count how many times the word 'shall' is in this legislation, and this is another reason why we can't vote for health care reform..."

Then they moved onto, "Look how many times Obama used the word 'I'

I see their whole critique about Obama is how many times they use words, and or how long bills are.

Carlton, the "unprecedented" question you posed is really a far fetched insinuation on your part.
Why don't you simply say 'I HOPE using the word unprecedented so many times WILL cause trouble for the president'?
      You silly Harlot.

Retchen works for Fox where they have been trying everything to delegitimize the president or 'unpresident' him. Poor bobblehead is confused.

This begs the question; who the h-e-double hockey sticks sat up for weeks and watched every television appearance of the president to COUNT all of these occurrences?

As if it matters anyway. Most of the time, 'unprecedented' is exactly the right word, because most of what he's doing is very progressive and productive.

Only if Obama -- like his predecessor -- pronounces it thusly:

      "un-pre-ce-dent-ter-ra-ted"

so obama saying "unprecedented" too much is a problem... compared to bush saying "uhhh" so much? and what the hell do you think dana perino is going to say about it? why would you even ask a former republican press secretary, who criticizes obama all the time, to give her opinion? shes going to nitpick obama's "problems" all the way to the bank. but nobody worry, fox has to be "fair and balanced".
