Anyway, he was implying that the SEALS had acted on their own somehow when they shot the pirates, NOT that liberals or some other group was trying to punish the SEALS for some reason.
I was under the impression that the SEALS had the go-ahead to shoot the pirates.
The careers of our military men, men with families, are being put in jeopardy for a bloodied lip.
1) There are rules for handling prisoners. If the SEALs broke those rules, there should be some sanction for it. The rule of law is why we are better than alleged thugs like Abedm.
2) My understanding of the story was that the men were originally to draw non-judicial punishment (which would likely have been mild), but the men themselves demanded that they draw a court martial.

They're being charged with dereliction of duty, making a false official statement and impeding an investigation.
He was suggesting that the SEALS acted improperly and alone in killing the pirates, and therefore subjected themselves to a legal backlash.
Did you even LISTEN to the tape?
It's clear that the co-host was bringing Obama in.
Or is this guy just pulling things out of his ass?
Pay attention.... if you don't understand something, ask questions before you make a fool of youself.
Listen to the tape again, and again, and again.
The ex-Seal caller stated forthrightly that SEALs should never lie to their commanders. I wonder how he would react to the Beck show's recent suggestion that military personel should murder prisoners and then lie about it after.

Neal Puckett to Fox News
“I don’t know how they’re going to bring this detainee to the United States and give us our constitutional right to confrontation in the courtroom,” Puckett said. “But again, we have terrorists getting their constitutional rights in New York City, but I suspect that they’re going to deny these SEALs their right to confrontation in a military courtroom in Virginia.”
