The Secret Service is going to run healthcare? I must have missed that part of the bill. Is that in the House, or Senate version.

I'm sure to Seanny the Sissy, it's a reflection on the entire administration. True, Obama's people allowed a couple of aspiring reality tv show stars to crash a dinner in his first year in office.

Imagine if they'd allowed terrorists to kill thousands of people by flying airplanes into buildings within that same year, even after being warned about it. Now, that would be a group you don't want in charge of anything.

Everyone knows that ACORN controls the Secret Service today. My god, they run the entire Department of Homeland Security. Sean just put two and two together and figured it out for us.

First it was the FEMA Camps, then Immigration, Customs and Border Security and now the Secret Service.

Nitpick, perhaps, but the Secret Service are not "Obama's people."

Everything else in your post is spot-on.

The two publicity hounds have made it hard for anyone who knows someone to get in big time Washington events. This has been going on since people have been having invatation only parties, and dinners,These two people have left someone feeling really used for getting them in.But I guess that is a reflection of society, crap on the people who do you a favor,

Hmmm... On 9/11 attack and failure to prevent: "These are the same guys that are going to run Homeland Security and Defense..." Riiight. Seems somewhat outrageous considering the dangers we've asked and continue to ask our armed forces to endure. Irresponsible and in poor taste as per usual coming from Hannity and his ilk.

But the people who listen to him will believe his crap. They have to . . . their minds won't let them believe otherwise.

I'm just amazed that the Secret Service is going to be "running our healthcare." Didn't know that was within the purview of the Secret Service. The things you learn by listening to the college dropouts on the radio who profess to be experts on the workings of our government and our Constitution . . . truly amazing!

It's all about reinforcing their beliefs. That's why most people tune in to Hannity. It isn't to get accurate information. It's to hear somebody who they already agree with stick it to the other side. If I'm honest it's the same reason I come to Media Matters every day. That's not to equate Media Matters with Hannity. They are worlds apart in terms of honesty and integrity.

The President of the USA doesn't oversee the security at a White House event.

He lets experts in Presidential security make those arrangements, and he hopes they hire competent help and train that help in appropriate ways, and then he hopes that the employees do what they're supposed to do.

But those people don't direct foreign policy, and they won't direct healthcare reform.

See, Sean, reasonable people who aren't participating in fearmongering don't confuse the roles that people play in our government like you did here.

I have an idea that "Mr. I have all the solutions" would go along with. Why doesn't the White House hire Blackwater or one of our security contractors from Iraq to provide security. I'm sure he wouldn't have a problem with that, especially since Mr. Cheney holds them all in such high esteem.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, who posts on Media Matters (and a lot of other people, of course), knew that it was just a matter of time before the Secret Service lapse would be blamed on the President. The only question was who would do it first? Hannity beat out (I think...) Limbaugh and Beck, and while he probably considers that a "scoop," it only means that he is first in the "I am a fool and am completely clueless about it" sweepstakes.

He makes it like a breach of security never happened during the presidency? The last time this breach happened that threatened the security of the president was:

Even though I seriously disagreed with his policies this should have never happened to him. Bottom line the couple should be in jail, the security guard should be fired, and step up the security with no corrections.

Yeah it was Reagan. I was a child when this event happened, but I did research and this was the last time a president's life was in danger. Hannity is a big Reagan butt kisser. I wonder what he would say if this was thrown back at him?

i guess the secret service for obama is getting a promotion to run health care these days. thats how it is working for that socialist obama and his communist ways in his fascist dictatorship.

I listened to Hannity for fifteen minutes this afternoon. I counted nine "literallys," five "unbelievables," TWELVE "in other words," and five "Its just amazings."

The main has no vocabulary, no brain, and, clearly, zero shame.

Since Secret Service are not political appointees, that means that most of them were hired previously to the Obama administration. Now who was president for the 8 years before Obama? If you accept Hannity's logic wouldn't that person be more to blame.
