I think I've figured Beck out... a witch cast a spell on him that makes him unable to speak in anything but opposites. That's why whenever he propagates some cynically ridiculous Alex Jones/John Birch Society batsh____ery, he's "not suggesting" that's the case. It's also why he claims he loves things like freedom, truth, and people with less money than himself. I would want the curse broken, but it might require someone to kiss him, and some things just aren't worth it.

OK, I am now officially confused.

Beck doesn't believe in "this" conspiracy theory but; is promoting it anyway. But; just what is the conspiracy?
There were invited, there weren't invited.
The Secret Service messed up, they didn't mess up.
      The Pentagon is involved.

I'm sorry, this is even more off the wall crazy than normal.

He's pulling a Dobbs. "Of course I believe the president is an American, but why oh why won't he show me his birth certificate?"

Thank you for watching the continuing fictional drama, "Too Many Faces of Glenn!"
Next episode, Mr Blackboard speaks to Glenn directly. Just to play it safe Glenn expertly takes an axe to Mr Blackboard. Glenn continues the rest of the show with an operating flashlight taped to his chin.
An attempt to form a connection between slate and Obama fails. Glenn claims its because he can't obtain the true ancestor of the blackboard, the waxed stone tablet. "Which unlike Mr. Blackboard, is made of stone!!!"

Keep your anti-nausia medication handy, and keep watching...or else!

Stay tuned! I'll uncover a big mess on the next show!

On my next show, I'll pick my nose!

Maybe my ratings will go up more!!!!

Yes, you are Glenn!! You thrive on conspiracy theories. And what you call common sense, isn't common sense, it is the delusion that comes from too much Fox watching. By the way, they let you next to President Bush, so we know the Secret Service isn't that strict. And I loved how you swing from this conspiracy theory into shilling for your sweater show. Have you no shame?

You just have to understand Beck's basic premise, which is, "I'm not really believing what I'm saying, I'm telling you up front, this is just a hypothesis I don't believe in, but I'm gonna map it out for ya as if its what I really think." Get it? Beck doesn't. But he doesn't have to because he doesn't believe what he says he is going to say as he says it and when he...oh, my brain just vomited.

Beck is apprently unaware that the Secret Sercvice has no funding, and is horribly understaffed.

They dont have the funding to do their jobs and they dont have the manpower to do their jobs either because they cant get any money in the budget because its all being used elsewhere

(remeber this was a story a few months back)

      So there's your explanation.
      a) The news story a few months ago is right, The Service needs a huge overhall and more money in the budget to do it
      b) because of "A", the proper level security cant not be provided as demonstated by these people getting into the whitehouse
      c) therefore we need to take steps to get the Service the funds and equipment they need

And you know since this all builds on an old story ANY of these people (on FOX, or CNN, or MSNBC) should be able to figure this out, hell they dont even have to do the research on it it was done for the first story.

But instead the news networks would rather sit around and discuss how shocked they are about this without mentioning any reasons for the breach (in the case of MSNBC and CNN) or come up asinine theories to make a rivial network cuplable for something they were not involved in (FOX)

All 3 major news networks are dropping the ball on this one, FOX as usual just happens to be the most obvious and disgusting of them.

The Secret Service lack of appropriate funds, started when it was folded into Homeland Security, which is an unnecessary, ridiculous bureaucracy that serves no purpose.

If President Obama had proposed the Department of Homeland Security, he would have been villified and stories of Terrorist attacks and national safety at risk would be speweing from the neocons mouths.

If beck didn't promote conspiracy theories, his show would cease to exist. It would be beck writing kindergarten doodles on a chalkboard.

Common sense would say the secret service were INCOMPETENT at this event moron. That is the extent of what common sense would dictate but obviously beck has no common sense. No surprise there!

Promoting a show doesn't sound reasonable to beck - the entire international scientific community forging the idea of global warming for some unknown motive is of course, perfectly reasonable for beck.
