      First, Glenn, feel free to breathe all the CO2 you want.
      Second, building machinery and installing it to curb CO2 emissions will create jobs. If we're smart, those jobs will be here and not in China.
      Third, what you believe about the Devil is not germane to this conversation.
      I suspect, and have for some time, that at some point you are going to go into full time televangelist mode. One of the last signs of that will be your use of a Bible as a prop, alongside your red phone. Not that you know any more about religion than you do about climate change. Or economics. Or politics. Or philosophy. Or take your pick.

      I recently viewed the old movie, "The Devil and Daniel Webster" which was a modern retelling of Faust, of course. I wonder Glenn, when you were redeemed ten years ago, when you struck that deal with God for a second chance, are you sure it was God? I'm not a particularly superstitious person, and I don't really believe in a devil, per se, but if I did, I would be pretty sure that you were a modern day version of Faust.

        Why not ? Mincing around with innuendo or implications, metaphors or suggestions, that's for people still clinging to a shred of credibility.

        It must be very liberating to be a Beck / Limbaugh / Hannity. You know you don't need anybody with any critical thinking skills, you get paid as long as you hang onto that audience that will mindlessly swallow anything you say. Complete freedom from second-guessing or trying to make sense.

      Here's the frightening part; Most of the regulars here at MMFA consider this ridiculous... the rantings of an idiot. However, those who loyally tune in to Beck every day, the idiot base of the Republican party, believe in these fairy tales.

      They will come away from this little tirade convinced that Satan has inhabited the White House... literally.

          They are. You win a cookie!!! I had forgotten about that little crazy tidbit. Knowing things like this fact may help when I debate religious folk about how insane Beck really is. They might be a little offended if they knew Beck believes Satan and Jesus were bro's.
