      "Forced"?

Sounds like a child's excuse to me.

You know, like when you're watching a little kid do something, and he gets nervous under your gaze, because he might screw up... and when he does screw up, he looks at you (looking at him), and says "You made me do that!"

Yeah right, we're making the media do this embarrassing Tiger Woods media obsession, they're being "forced" to do it!

Why is the so called "liberal" MSNBC having constant commercials by insurance industries telling the viewer why we can't afford healthcare reform?

I'm sure the mainstream media is relieved and thankful to have Miller's pity.

When it comes to the Tiger Woods story, there's only one person in the media who has a take on it that's worth listening to: Jim Rome. Everything else has been absolute garbage.

      Yes Judy, I know.

Just like I feel sorry that you were "forced" to take up the story of WMDs in Iraq, and subsequently left the NYT when that story was proven false.

      Well, actually, you weren't forced -- so, I'm not sorry . . .

I'm sorry, I must have missed something. Why should I care what Judy Miller has to say about anything? That this woman can even get a job in the media is a stinging indictment of the industry. A serial liar commenting on a story about an (alleged) serial cheater? Pot, meet kettle.

I know Judith was grossly wrong about all of the WMD and aluminum tube crap, but compared to the rest of the people on Faux, she is Edward R Murrow.

I think Judy Miller is on Tiger Woods' speed-dial.

      Well...at least on Scooter Libby's.

Judith Miller: "I feel sorry that the mainstream media has been forced to take up" Tiger Woods story

For someone who lied to the American people to make them believe that WMD's was in Iraq. Her quiting the NYT to be a contributor on FOX Snooze is a good choice for her. All I can say is welcome to the wonderland which is FOX Snooze!

I wonder if Sean Klannity's children challenge him on his stupidity (auguments). Listen to Sean's debate, it is so weak. Not even worth mentioning.
The lady guest on the show told Sean that Tiger never set himself up to be a preacher, and somehow this is baffling to Sean. Hannity would rather make a nonsensical argument than use some logic and common sense to make a point.
Some of Sean's guests are just as dizzy as he is. Did you hear one of them say that the media is 'forced to take up Tiger story"?

Yeah, a so called librul media that's made up of by and large a bunch of white hen peckers was forced to take on the tiger woods story like a bunch of snotty ol' ladies sitting around drinking tea and gossiping. Must have been an affirmative action thing in their minds...

      "Forced"???

I wish that they would all just shut the hell up. Most people I know feel the same way. These folks in the "media" are just creating stories again.

Let it go. Nobody cares about anything but the fact that Tiger is an excellent golfer. What's going on between him and his wife is THEIR business, not mine.

        "Nobody cares about the fact...."

Im not defending the fact that the media exploits these stories, but they wouldnt if people werent buying. Nobody cares? obviosly some people do ,because the tabloid magazines are flying off the shelves and the tv shows wont shut up about Tiger and his paramours(so rarely get to use that word). No news show that deserves the title should have anything more to say, because it is not news ,its entertainment.Unfortunately as a society we have made it perfectly clear that any news program that does offer up a healthy dose of gossip and scandal is not going to have the ratings that will satisfy their corporate office
