      Wow - someone that wants equal rights for gay people and realizes that religions and in particular, the church is opposing such an idea. WHAT A RADICAL?! Whats next? Promoting clean energy? Advocating for universal healthcare? When will such radical dystopian nightmares end? GIVE ME A BREAK!

        Well basically yes. The modern day conservative movement is religiously intolerant, homophobic and beholden to corporate interests. Ask yourself, do you want higher taxes and higher gas prices or a cleaner planet? That's really what it comes down to and we know which side the good guys fall.

      Why is it that people who are conservatives must bend their beliefs and be more tolerant of the things they do not believe in.
      Why can't liberals bend their beliefs and be more tolerant of the things they do not believe in?
