      Oh, dear God. Show us the passages, Sarah. Show us someplace where your ghostwriter was actually anwhere near as eloquent or as intellectually engaged. Show us or STFU.

        Good point. Idiots around the country, AKA Palin supporters, obviously mistake her comic-book collection for an anthology of her speeches!

      I think it's a big enough stretch to say that he READ a book of Palin's, muchless that he plagerized a Nobel Prize speech from it.

            Seriously, if a wingnut can only muster up a one-line comment, you'd think even the dopiest Dittobot could at least make a proper sentence, even if they can't manage a complete thought.

      Well, I don't see that Sarah is claiming credit for the speech. The best I can say is that unless there is some more that is not presented here, it would be a stretch to say that she is taking credit. At best, I can say that Sarah thinks she has had ideas similar to what Obama said and she says she included them in her book. Since Sarah is all over as to where she stands on anything, I would have to ask someone who has read the book whether there is something in it that parallels Obama's speech. (I have no intention to read the book.)
      Sarah is generally inconsistent, incoherent at times, and a victim of so many conspiracies it is hard to count. It is a stretch to say she takes credit, and not a stretch to say that she claims to have had similar ideas. I think MMfA is off the mark on this one.

        I would say that it is a streach to say that Ms. Palin has any original thoughts. Blind ambition, yes, intellect for original thought, absolutely not.

      Sorry, I mistakenly posted this on another thread

      Perhaps if she had written the book, she wouldn't have had too thumb thru it.

        C'mon, it was there, check her notes. It's not her fault that she quit writing the book half way through it and her notes were from the unwritten half!

            I was visiting Townhall, looking at the wingnut cartoons, because I find their attempts at humor so amazingly incompetent. I have to take back some of what I've said about right wing humor, though. This is hilarious;

                I could have read this one wrong. Sometimes with right wing cartoons it's difficult to tell exactly what they're trying to say. They're either very simplistic and heavy-handed, or incoherent.

                I saw this one as mocking Obama getting the peace prize while escalating a war (which sort of gives up on the "Peace through Power" wingnut theme), and questioning seriously if Palin would be recognized.

                Is this maybe a non-Palinista right winger saying that Simple Sarah winning a prize for literature would be as ridiculous as Obama winning the peace prize?

                Sometimes these righty cartoonists are like the righty posters here. They're so confused about everything, and contradict themselves so often, that you're never sure what their point is.

                  Yes, best not to be lulled into a false sense of security vis a vis the wingnuts occupying the same planet as us sentient beings! Especially in the comedy department. ;-)

      Sarah says, "I've heard that somewhere. Let me thumb through this book. Oh, wait a second, that'll take too long. I distinctly remember saying the EXACT same thing when I was... so, also... and, too he got that from me, you betcha."

      Reminds me of the movie "Being There". Sarah Gump speaks and the world reacts. How have we sunk so low. She is an idiot. If she were fat and ugly, nobody would care about her. If this is what we deserve, we are in worse shape than I realized.
