Maybe if we had been fortunate enough to have taken Fox Twisted History 101, we might be better prepared to understand things from their perspective.

Ingraham is a lawyer who was a briefing clerk for Justice Clarence Thomas. Her problem isn't that she isn't well-versed in the law, it's that she is a hard-lined partisan who really hates anything she believes is "liberal." She would have given Obama a failing grade even if he had brought about 0% unemployment in the first 10 months of his presidency, a chicken in every pot and a paid-for Lexus in every garage.

This is a silly argument now, either way because even if the wing-nuts wanted to argue that President Obama had no experience when he was elected, he absolutely has experience now.

If these right-wing republican taught economics and history, we'd all graduate with PhD's in ignorance. Amazing how much they have to re-write the book on everything to support thier nonsense, then get angry when those "liberal" teachers and professors won't let that crap see the light of day in the classroom.

(Yeah, it could be "liberal bias" or it could just be that you're all full of $#!t, morons.)

All conservtaives understand is marketing - the science of getting people to pay more for things they don't need.

It's not that their ideas won't see the light of day. I had a few professors who were very conservative. It's just they also recognized their responsibilities as professors were to expose their students to a variety of ideas. My teachers exposed me to both conservative and more liberal schools of thought on many subjects. Students are supposed to be taught the many ways to reach a conclusion if multiple ways exist. It's not realistic to believe that there is only one viewpoint for every problem. They are also taught how to properly back up their conclusion with proof. Many of the conservatives who attack acedamia don't care that many of the same professors they criticize are very conservative. They just want to make a boogeyman out of something. So they preach against anything that may cause people to think rather than mindlessly repeat and believe in something.

How can anyone listen to her?

And what is it with female conservative commentators? She and Ann Coulter's voice are grating to listen to. Even though I cannot stand what they say, Limbaugh and Beck at least of voices that don't make you want to poke your eardrums out (even if what they have to say might).

Actually, basic economics would be a poor lesson for a President dealing with a crisis since the tool box of standard economics is either worthless or is actually harmful in a very bad recession (can we just got this a Depression? Looking at long-term unemployment projections it mine as well be).

Perhaps this is why conservatives are having difficulty right now. They are too busy studying "basic" economics, but I still think the more likely answer is they aren't studying it at all.

Sorry Miss Ingraham, President Obama's Harvard Law degree trumps your law degree from UofV. You know it and we know it. Take your sour grapes home with you and enjoy them during your lonely holidays.

I'll take Obama's education over Ingraham's Fox version of history any day of the week. What if he went to one of Beck's Re-Eduction Cult Camps? Would you pass him then?

What is with the right's fixation on becoming the most powerful nation on Earth? What's wrong with just being a powerful nation? That sounds like a Bush-mentality to me.

This is so stupid on so many levels.

First off, no President makes decisions in a vacuum. They all rely upon expert advisors.

Secondly, Obama seems more open to advice from experts than any president in recent memory.

Lastly, this president is REALLY sharp. He's got all kinds of common sense and brain power, and he's exhibited those strengths in countless ways.

This is the attempted swiftboating of Obama.

Oh, its no attempt, Dolly -- its full-on swiftboating.

And the reason why is obvious: the wingnuts simply CANNOT believe that a black man has obtained as much education as Obama has, and definitely cannot believe he's holding the position he does.

This explains why {college dropout} Sean Hannity assigns "grades" -- all F's -- and why Ingraham talks about "holding him back" a grade: these a-holes get a perverse sort of pleasure by treating a man with Obama's education {which has far exceeded theirs} as a "bad student" . . .

That says it all!! St Ronnie is called up as a hero for everything Republicans distort!.Reganomics never worked for anyone except the Rich!!Tax cuts did not create lots of jobs... just made the rich richer.Additional profits from reduced taxes will only be reinvested in job creating expansions if demand goes up for those products or services. It probably goes more for bonuses and increased payout to executives than for job creation!! He was a likable grandfather to many but was not sensitive to the needs of common citizen or minorities in particular!!His policies reflected that. Why he is touted so much is beyond me..how about Iran/Contras!???
