Well, for starters, Beck tepidly recommends the Palin Witchcraft Center.

Well how about the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church as an example of one of Beck's bad churches? Look at how foxnews.com describes why the gunman in the article supposedly chose the church and maybe that will let you know what a slimeball Beck is:

Owen said authorities believe the suspect had gone to the Unitarian church because of "some publicity in the recent past regarding its liberal stance on things."

The church — like many other Unitarian Universalist churches — promotes progressive social work, such as desegregation and fighting for the rights of women and gays. The Knoxville congregation has provided sanctuary for political refugees, fed the homeless and founded a chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, according to its Web site.

Unitarians have roots in a movement that rejected Puritan orthodoxy in New England. Although the outlook and beliefs of individual Unitarian churches can vary dramatically, most congregations retain a deep commitment to social justice, which has led them to embrace liberal positions over the years. Unitarians were among the first to ordain women, support the civil rights movement and back gay rights.
Considering Beck was criticized over the actions of his follower in this instance, you would think Beck would become just a little more civil or reasonable in his talk. Since Beck is not backing down, it is hard to believe Beck does not support this kind of thing at least on some level.

When I see quotes like this, I think "What an idiot". But then, I look at what FOX is paying him to spew these lies.

Glenda's probably not a stupid as he pretends to be.... he may even be reading from a script. The real idiots are those dunderheads who believe this nonsense.

Glenn is an idiot. Nobody who is truly a Christian believer should buy into this. Is the evil government infiltrating the sermon now? I always thought the message of Jesus (and the overall message of God) was to treat others properly. I thought social justice was the backbone of all religions. Christianity wants us to do right by the "least of my bretheren". So why is social justice a bad thing? This tells me that those who suffer from injustice should be made whole and treated fairly. But why should a nut like Beck care? That only makes sense.

Well, see... the ugly truth is that the Country Club Republicans made a Faustian deal with the Evangelical Nutbags years ago. The Republicans knew that the Troglodytes would do whatever their preachers told them, so they (Republicans) pretended to care about social issues so that the Troglodytes would use their gullible hordes to turn out large, mindless voting blocs.

Sadly, the Country Clubbers only care about money... and the Troglodytes are too stupid to realize they've been used. To maintain the facade, the GOP hires people like Beck to pay lip service to Religious themes, just to keep their idiot base angry at the Democrats.

Unfortunately, this deception works very well.

That is a very sad summation of things........and all too accurate. I keep remembering animal farm and how the sheep and horses were used. I think that Glenn knows he is being used, and looked down on as not making the Country Club grade, and it angers him. But really, would you let him in your club?

That's a good point. Glen is likely very rich now, but it's "new" money. He'll never be a real member of the Landed Gentry. He'll ever remain their useful idiot.

Glenn really embraced the Mormon view when he converted. Look after your own by any means necessary and prepare for the end of the world, at which time, you will come out of the desert and rule the world in our image. Frankly, I would rather die than join that celestial choir.

So Glenn Beck is warning his gullible listeners to watch out for anyone in their churches talking about "social justice" because that means they are commies. Seriously how stupid is that? Maybe Beck should look up what social justice means because the Bible is full of calls for social justice for the poor and oppressed. In fact I read that there are 3,000 passages in the Bible that speak about caring for the poor and liberating those who suffer unjustly.
So I guess that means that the Bible is a Marxist doctrine huh Glenn? I wonder how Beck feels about Jesus chasing the moneylenders out of the synagogue, or telling the rich young ruler to give ALL his money to the poor or saying that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than get into heaven.
Jesus Christ= commie sympathizer in Glenn's world.

Social Justice in the Bible sense is "charity". Charity is synomynous with love. Jesus Christ taught that charity benefits both the giver and the receiver. The giver benefits from his Christian service and has a change of heart, the receiver from knowing someone sacrificed that he could receive the charity, and his heart is softened.

Obama and Biden gave less tha 0.01 percent (one hundredth of one percent) of their income to charity. Republican candidates gave an average of 5 percent (13 percent for Mitt Romney).

Obama and Jeremiah Wright's version of social justice is to take from the rich and distribute to the poor. Even the poor don't have any spiritual benefit - they show no gratitude - because it "came from the gov'ment".

It is the Jeremiah Wright version of social justice which Glenn Beck doesn't like.

Oops I screwed up that last part. I meant that Jesus said it was easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven. (This is what happens when I try to type fast.) My bad.

He lost me on the his logic on this rant.

The liberal churches and denominations are promoting a position that is outside the vision of the Founding Fathers. Yet, the conservative churches who distort the vision of the Founding Fathers are OK?

And since when are the churches not supposed to take a higher moral stand then the Constitution? Is it the highest moral authority in the Nation? If the Constitution is the highest moral authority, we can legalize abortion, gay marriage, polygamy and many probably several other controversial issues that are never mentioned in the document. Positions that the conservatives believe are "implicit" in the religious foundations of the Constitution ("Judeo-Christian foundations" for you right wing ignoramouses).

Batsh*t crazy. And his handlers know it.

Listen at 1:18, it's hysterical. When he says "hidden messages" and immediately reverses himself. Oops. Not hidden. It's not a conspiracy.

Whoa, boy. Easy now. It's like settling down a horse that suddenly shows the whites of his eyes.

Or like that character in Dr. Strangelove, the German scientist trying to pass for sane, hanging on by a thread, when suddenly his arm snaps up and he goes into a psychotic, Nazi rant.
