The best takedown of Beck I've yet seen:

Nice to see Beck's racism mixed in with Beck's sexism and Beck's conspiracy theories all in one two minute clip.

It's amazing how he sounds more and more like Alex Jones.

Beck surpassed Jones a long time ago, in my opinion.

He doesn't just sound like him - he's blatantly stealing his material! Every comedian steals jokes though, or in this case - rodeo clowns.

Sounds like a logical progression from 'whack a mole'.
Also would be a good iPhone app. - in fact, there was the one app created by a MAD Magazine artist that had caricatures of every politician along with their contact/address information... imagine bringing up the Top Idiot Of The Day.

Last time I checked, the googleslap and googlesmack apps were still in development. They've worked out most of the bugs, but they still can't figure out how to allocate sufficient resources necessary for hits directed at certain radio and television hosts.

I'm confused by this clip. I think what he's saying is that on the day the bill is passed it will only get worse from there. Which makes no sense as many of the stipulations of the bill don't come into full effect until two or three or even four years down the line. I guess I can't expect him to make sense he is a propagandist after all. As long as it makes the wingnuts afraid he's done his job.

He's right, the day it passes the reichwhine party becomes a regional minority party for the next 40 years. That ought to be enough time for the Dems to fix everything the reichwhiners screwed up!

Well, I think the Republitoads know that. That's one reason they keep fighting so hard against any kind of Healthcare reform.

I just hope this whole health care battle is a wake up call to the Dems. They can't negotiate with extremists by starting at a reasonable position. The GOP has shown itself to be as blindly ideological and resistant to change as those Islamofascists they're always screeching about.

I still think rational people should engage Republicans, they just can't be trusted, and they certainly shouldn't be appeased or treated as if they're on the side of the American people.

Many Republican lawmakers have proven that they are willing to stand in front of a camera and lie their asses off. You can't negotiate or compromise with people like that.

Heck, maybe they have a point after all. By showing us you can't deal with someone who hates you for your beliefs, perhaps killing them all and letting God sort them out is the right way to deal with teabaggers after all!

Great, I have sub-zero art skills, but the 'kill 'em all and let God sort them out' makes me think of a possible editorial comic:

SCENE: Heaven, portrayed as clouds as a floor, God is at a typical business desk. He comments to an angel: Great, more innocent victims to handle, so who was it that came up with that saying, again?

No thinking involved? Let somebody else do the work? Sounds like a winner for wingnuts.

The day before yesterday, you made fun of your wife's voice in the context of recycling in your home. Today, you're taking on 'bride-zillas'. What's the matter, Glenn? Trouble at home? You go back to drinking again, and she wants you out of the house?

This analogy is an epic fail, tied up with malapropisms and bad metaphors. If a college freshman handed in this line of thought, they would be sent to a remedial class and informed about the many available peer tutoring programs. Of course, high school is about as far as you got, Glenn, aside from some OTJ training behind the mic. You're lucky you landed this gig, otherwise you'd know first hand what hard times are really like, especially in this economy.

Hey there old Glennie, how come you can be on the radio three hours a day, and then an hour of television, and you are solving the worlds problems at the same time. Don't you think Obama multi-task like you do?

Holy shtuff. This guy continues to amaze me. Is it just me, or does Beck actually sound like he's making stuff up on the spot? And why wouldn't the President of the U.S. not be on television all the time? He's fighting against some of the most ridiculous and underhanded opponents this country has ever known. In order to even get his message across without gross manipulation and out-of-context clips, he's pretty much gotta stay plugged in. And since when have presidents single-handedly come up with anything? Isn't that what the freakin' Cabinet is for? To provide information and support for the lead man, so that he can make informed and relevant decisions?

This health care bill doesn't even have a public option nor a medicare expansion/buy in (which Lieberman supported in Sept. 09). Why are they upset?

Beck: "The day they put this health care plan through is our wedding day. It doesn't get better than that"

Not if it gets revised and a better version comes thru. Then it will definitely be our wedding day. The fact that the Senate and most of the House of Reps are bought by corporations, does not excuse the fact that if all the progressives get out and protest for what is right and not these fake protests you are calling the 9/12 project, then we the people can have good affordable health care reform. How about tell the truth Becky! Tell your dense followers that the free market system you brag about is corrupting the government! That is the true fascism Becky!

How is it that Obama can be both incapable of leading this government and the mastermind of the downfall of all that "we" hold sacred?

Just keep throwing much against the wall and see what sticks, Beck.
