You are so right MR. Thundavolt she is a very Hateful Person.
She is only Surpassed by Tammy Bruce whose hate has steadily Worsened.
If you really want to see what Laura Ingraham & Michelle Malkin have to offer put them on the panel of "This Week"
That Sunday morning News Show has Consistantly Exposed both of them as Intellectually Meek.

        Speak truth to power.

They just accept the fact that the path to right-wing riches is to be as extreme and hyperbole-drive as humanly possible. They all want to out-Beck Beck.

This is gonna get funny and ugly at the same time.

Blind ideologue and Kool-Aid drinker she may be, but she continues to be the "official guest host" of The O'Reilly Factor. Why would straight-talking Bill want someone like that in that position?

O'Reilly sees himself as a brand. He knows his audience and gives them what they want. As does Beck. Is it immoral? You betcha'! Is it journalism? Not even close. It's about as far from journalism as a Polk Award is from a Peabody. It's Jesusland T.V. and that's all you should expect.

Actually, a true America-hater is a former vice president who appears on national TV to criticize our commander in chief in a time of war. He is a traitor, giving aid and comfort to our enemies. He hates the Constitution, he hates the Bill of Rights, he favors the brutal policies and tactics of dictators and despots. Contrary to the puffed-up phony patriotism of his sycophantic followers, he is more of an enemy to America than the so-called socialists you denigrate.

You could also include on that list a former president, you know the one that the dems would not even allow to speak at their last convention while the TV cameras were on. Even they know better.

Cheney proves ReasonAndResolve's point that "[Critics of Olbermann and Maddow] don't even watch them" and that opinions like Cheney's are not informed ones. Cheney admits this in his first sentence "NOBODY watches [Olbermann and Maddow]". Obviously that is a false statement, but it appears Cheney believes it is true, so it is reasonable it is true about him.

I actually watch both of them regularly, as do many of the people here, and around a million people everynight. Also, I don't think either of them have ever claimed that they were "socialists", and the America you claim that they hate, is really just opposition to the Conservative interpretation of the Constitution that the right wants to promote. This is no different from your opposition of a Liberal interpretation of the Constitution.

I'm hardly a fan of O'Reilly, but compared to most of the people on FOX News, he has some integrity, intelligence, and - again, comparatively - intellectual honesty. He doesn't push the "Democrats and Obama are deliberately destroying the country" crap that you see from Beck, Hannity, Malkin, Ingraham, etc. It's consistent with his character that he does respect the President and First Family, even though he disagrees with them.

Of course, he's not free from sin - the GE thing is particularly despicable, and his ideological anti-liberal zeal is downright worrisome - both are terrible for the country. Still, he's certainly the best of the bunch.

He's been taking out this "moderate" territory for awhile now. Since Tiller's murder, in fact. I think it's strategic -- a way to distance himself from the unhinged fringe because they're headed toward irrelevancy. I also think he originally became a right-wing blowhard out of opportunism. That culture warrior stuff was cynical pandering.

I don't care if O'Reilly starts holding hands with Al Gore and sings the praises of George Clooney, he'll never been anything but a narcisstic, opportunistic hack.

I guess the affair is over?

ON Something that really matters, I have heard no info on any of these threads pertaining to the COBRA extention bill which covers millions of employees who were let go in September 2008.

These millions of former employees will lose their COBRA health insurance as of December 31st 2009.

papa bear: To be fair to MMFA, they cover rightwing media and don't cover issues like Cobra per se unless some conservative media figure chimes in on it.

My understanding is that the House voted for the extension as of today.

Bill really likes Obama. In 2008 he wanted to get close to candidate Obama. He's still dying to interview him any time, any place. I wonder if he's ruffling some feathers at Fox. Bill must have been on a "high" after The President's speech when he accepted The Nobel Peace Prize. Can anyone figure out why Bill likes The President so much?

It is very surprising that she agreed to go out with him, but this may shed some light om why she dumped him. There is more than I pasted, the censors here won't let me paste the whole story. The full story is easy to find about 20% down the page,

By Keith "Bear" Olbermann on January 11, 2008 4:55 PM
Laura was so smart. She had to explain everything to me, mainly politics. I did have trouble understanding and would just kind of zone out. She wasn't into baseball cards though. And, she had her own career and didn't want or need my money. I think they call that a feminist. Women who are; in charge, smart, self sufficient, really kind of scare me. She told Don Imus that I was a mystery to her. I can't figure out why.

If their relationship didn't work out it was because there was no core connection. I remember having those kinds of relationships and at the time being mystified that things didn't work out better, but later found out about the true person and realized there was nothing in common on levels that were too deep and uncompromising.

Keith was a sport person, but I think George Bush brought out the citizen in him where he started paying attention to politics. The Bush Administration was the awakening of many of us.

It has also been an awakening that our system is so corrupt that even a well meaning President like Obama is too powerless to make that much of a difference, since the banksters and the military industrial complex are fully in control and the people are so busy trying to stay afloat of the whole thing that they let the Limbaughs and the Becks, who are bought and paid for by their corporate bosses, have their way with their minds and are not showing up where it matters but do show up to do the "teabagging" thing like nice sheep.
