Mr. Limbaugh, I've got a challenge for you and all who follow you. Show me one article, one news segment, one piece of evidence where anyone, including Obama himself, has referred to him as a savior or messiah. You may NOT use any evidence wherein rightwingers are claiming the left views him so. Only show where someone who agrees with Obama has called him a savior or messiah. Just one.

The only people I've heard call him that are the people who hate him.

There was one statement made by Nancy Pelosi that could imply as such when taken out of context or misinterpreted. I can't remember the exact quote, but it was said during the first half of 2008...

          I know, wide range there...

Pelosi said that Obama was a "leader that God has blessed us with at this time." Hardly called him the Messiah.

Rush loves Palin and she, herself, believes that she was chosen by God to lead this country into the "end times."

And, while you're at it, Limpy, please describe in detail exactly what it is about Obama's behavior or demeanor that you feel warrants description as an "out of control little child" or a " power-thirsty little man-child".

I mean, its not as though President Obama has ever joked about the US being easier to govern if it were a dictatorship, or pronounced himself "The Decider", or referred to the US Constitution as a "g-d piece of paper", or outed a covert CIA agent for political retaliation.

Although, I suspect your constant use of the term "man-child" to refer to a 48-year-old father of two may simply be a substitute for term you really want to use . . .

There is no doubt there is a racist aspect to the way Limbaugh talks about Obama.

Actually, Limbaugh is the one out of control. He has the morals of a gutter snipe, he is hateful and a hate monger and besides all that, he is just plain silly. Poor thing is to be pitied. Actually Rush is the one with the messianic complex and he is just angry at the wonderful way that folks like Obama's Christian behavior. You can tell that it is driving him nuts. Especially now that it looks like the health care bill will get passed. Not everything that Obama wanted but still a great improvement. Plus, that legislation showed perfectly what wimps Republicans showed with their obstructionist behavior and spoiled tantrums. Of course Rush has no compassion for anyone, particularly the uninsured.

You hit the nail on the head. As the self-professed "talent on loan from God," this is a man who has the biggest ego and the littlest reason to have such an ego.

It's interesting, don't you think, that these folks like to complain that Obama has accomplished anything, but then they turn around and accuse him of doing all these other nefarious communist, fascist, socialist things. What is it? He's a do-nothing or he's out of control? Can't be both.

Of course he can be both, we're talking about the king of right wing blowhards. After all old Rush can contradict himself by just finishing a sentence. Come on this is simple !

Blimpycakes is very bitter today. We are getting a two-fer. Angry Rusty hissing through his dentures about the health care bill vote mixed with his annual cranky tirade due to his loneliness around the holidays.

If this was 50 years ago he would have used that word. So most common sense people know what Rushie means. I am just waiting for the day for it to slip. Just like Lou Dobbs almost called Condi Rice a "Cotton Picker".
