      These two know nothing about history. They rant about the consititution, but the government can regulate COMMERCE! The Health Insurance Industry is a profit making business, as with so many aspects of the health care system. If they are for profit producing or trading a good from producer to final consumer then they can be regulated.

      Commerce- is a division of trade or production which deals with the exchange of goods and services from producer to final consumer. It comprises the trading of something of economic value such as goods, services, information, or money between two or more entities.

        Oh yes, Boxer, we know all about that, yada yada yada. But for Jim Quinn and his ilk, the actual Constitution isonly as long as the Second Amendment, and all the rest is just so much toilet paper...

          Yeah they only quote the 1st and 2nd amendments. Other amendments do not exist in their eyes. So to them all the rest is just yada yada yada. LOL at these people like Quinn.

      The healthcare bill currently passing the Senate is a watered-down concession to corporatism and insurance companies. That said, I'll get behind anything that elicits this kind of reaction from the party of WATBs.
