The defense appropriations bill funds the entire military, not just troops in Afghanistan and Iraq

No one seems to want to mention that the term started out as a self-designation, and THEN became a pejorative after they realized why everyone was snickering.

since it is now a part of the american lexicon, maybe we should have a definition to go along with "teabagger". it would be : teabagger: a person that is against barack obama, no matter what the issue. a person that is suddenly concerned over deficits, but didn't protest deficits during bush's term. a person that is so intolerant, that they won't accept the election of a democrat, or anyone with opposing viewpoints. a person that opposes spending 700 billion to reinvest in america, but says nothing about spending twice that amount to rebuild iraq and afghanistan.in other words, it's communism when we spend money on americans, but not communism when we spend that same money on foreign countries.

One explanation, bluestate, is that the teabaggers are being (or were being) manipulated by right wing interests and that explains the apparent in congruity of what they are protesting. Of course now they have gotten out of hand and are threatening to destroy the Republican Party.

Hey, blowing up countries so we can rebuild them is an American Tradition.

You have to wonder what this granny would have said when she was told what teabagging meant. I confess to being ignorant of the term until Rachel was giggling about it, so I looked it up. It isn't something I would ever participate in, but I guess some people do. I will however, go to my grave calling the Teabaggers just that, because I have almost no respect for them as a group, and the fact that they would choose this name and image without checking up on things just shows me they deserve to be tarred with their brushes.

If it could be done, they should all be compelled to see a certain John Waters film.

        I'd suggest "Multiple Maniacs".

Force them to watch Lady Divine's Cavalcade of Perversions, the sleaziest show on earth!

or watch them all get attacked by a large lobster! polyester(the movie) also had some good material of anti abortionists, swinging their signs and hitting people with them.

I love seeing people like Moore lump themselves in with the teabaggers. This is a marriage of convenience for him. A case of an enemy of my enemy is my friend.

The teabag movement will eventually move so far off the right edge of the spectrum that the fiscal conservatives like Moore will be thrown overboard by the bible thumping, gut toting cretins.

He may be with them on some of the issues but I sense an impurity about him that will leave him bobbing in the water, fighting off the sea life.
