Does old Dickey hold the same animosity toward the "Advisory" boards that control patient care at Wellpoint, United Health Care, Blue Cross?

Well, Dick...why should we have Medicare in the first place? It's just socialism, correct? Where do people get this notion that they have a right to live if they can't afford to pay for their own health care? I'm confused.

Are there no prisons?...And the Union workhouses?...The Treadmill and the Poor Law in full vigor, then?...I help to support the institutions I have mentioned- they cost enough; and those who are badly off must go there.

And...If they would rather die they had better do it and decrease the surplus population..

I'm surprised more Democrats aren't using that logic against the lying Toadies across the isle. If they hate "Government Run" healthcare so much, why don't they introduce legislation eliminating Medicare?

I wonder how the Blue-Haired Teabaggers would respond?

When grandma was 97 years old, with dementia and living in a nursing home, she complained to her general practitioner doctor one day about having a pain on the right side of her chest. The doctor poked and prodded and listened with his stethoscope but could find no reason for her pain. Soooo.... he suggested a mammogram! for gods sake!
She had the mammogram, it is quite uncomfortable and she hollered the entire procedure.... and of course nothing unusual was found.
It is for cases like this that the Medicare advisory board is incredibly important.

dick morris craves approval from conservatives, and that leads him to say just about anything to get their attention. he always has that same smirk on his face that seems to say,"i used to work in the clinton administration, and look at me now"! he reminds me of that john lovitz character that said, "i just want to be loved, is that so wrong"!

According to Nutrootsville, "Death Panels' don't exist in the health care bill and are just a fantasy of Sarah Palin. Oh yes that's why Dingy Harry inserted a provision in the health care bill requiring future Congresses to have supermajorities to change the medical board in the bill. The people who whine about the fillibuster and supermajority votes, want their agenda protected.

Repugs have tried to eliminate Medicare and Medicaid. They were never succesful. Just a few months ago the GOP had elimination of Medicare as one of their bullet points for their "plan for America".
They don't care about seniors. The just figured out that they could use Medicaid to scare seniors into opposing healthcare for all.
