Little known fact---Hitler's bunker came equipped with a tanning bed. It's true! Glenn Beck told me.

Limbaugh fill-in Steyn uses Churchill speech on resisting Third Reich to urge resistance of tanning bed tax

Such an apt comparison. As Schindler's List was one of the tragic stories to come out of the Third Reich, we will now have Paris Hilton's List to document the atrocities of the evil tanning bed tax.

Good gracious -- from the looks of Steyn and few others {Rove, Cheney}, its not like they ever use a tanning bed, anyway . . .

"Bogus stuff like health and safety"

"We shall fight them on the tanning beds"

If I was going to mock this buffoon, that's what I'd be writing. I see what he did there...

Too bad the Troglodytes don't believe in alternative energy sources... they could use Solar Tanning Beds at no charge.

Why do we listen to a guy who lives here yet won't become a citizen of the US, yet blows his mouth off about something he can't even vote on?

        Good question.

Why won't Mark Steyn provide his long-form COLB??

This tax will be invalidated as unconstitutional and in violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the 5th and 14th Amendment. It's a tax on white people who go to tanning salons. It's invidious discrimination which I am sure they will find was intentionally an assault anybody but pale skinned people.

This would be like taxing hair supplies that were directed to African-Americans. You know, straighteners, de-frizzers, etc etc.

P.S. Let's tax skin lighteners; bet the Obama's and their kids wouldn't like that.

Well, I must say -- I never thought I'd see the day hair-care products designed for home use would be equated with tanning beds at a salon . . . but, I suppose anything is possible -- in the minds of wingnuts, that is.

Like an eight-year-old child having the need for a skin lightener . . .

The is not the proper place for a proper response to your post, and believe me I do have one.You hate is mis-directed without clear thought. This is not a TMZ Michael Jackson thread. But mabe all look alike to you.President Obama and his family's skin color is natural.I do not thing they use skin lightners.People do not have high skin cancer medical bills from straightening their hair.Tanning beds contribute to skin cancer, they tell you this when you get in one.The cigarett tax can be considered a race base tax, since a higher percentage of black people smoke. But cigaretts contribute to many health problems.I have no problem with taxing them to pay for it.If you really want a discussion on race and tax I have been waiting and welcome it.In nearly every city in the USA where black peoplle live they pay higher county and city taxes.Police write more tickets, and judges impose hagher fines.on black people which are taxes.Do you really want to discuss race and taxes???Or do you have other motives.

        Wow.

I was about to comment that zamfir273114's excellent satire was going right past the people with the downthumbs.

I thought I'd better check the great gazoogle first.

D00d, you could be just as great as Colbert. But you have to stop being an actual wingnut racist, first.

I was just looking for the list of Zamfir's offenses so I could post it but you've saved me a lot of time work.

Now, I won't have to leave my War on Christmas bunker at the mall.

Leave it to the right wing to introduce race into something, when race hadn't been mentioned before.

Wonder why that happens all the time???????????

Tanning beds are part of rising health care cost. They increase the skin cancer rate.Just like cigaretts cause health problems, and are taxed to help pay healthcare cost.

so sad and still no reason for the tax. This is what many are afaid of: more government behavior modification. Do we need badges for sun exposure as well? not that i would use such a badge...

Maybe we can get Hannity to live up to his promise to try the waterboard if we trick him first by telling him it is a tanning bed. By the way--why is O'Reilly silent on the War on Christmas this year? Did someone stuff a falafel into his pie-hole?
