Good thing Limbaugh, Beck, and the rest of the flock of bobbleheads never call people names.

Well, we have other arguments, but the Troglodytes never met a fact they couldn't ignore. Therefore, we might as well get the therapeutic benefit of calling them names.

They already gave themselves the best insult by calling themselves "teabaggers" and then blame the liberal media when the sniggering began.

Exactly. Furthermore, the Democrats should just tell the Republicans in Congress to go pound sand. You cannot bargain or debate with people who just make up crap and think lying is a "Traditional Value".

Yeah, well, that's why I have my name. I couldn't ignore the facts, but unlike those I left behind, I was actually willing to consider the possibility that I was wrong.

Trust me, name-calling will backfire against these people. We have to keep throwing out solid facts. But the problem I see is that it isn't explained why it's the truth. Example: During all the Tenth Amendment controversy, I only heard one person mention how the Fourteenth Amendment shuts down their case. He also pointed out the relevant court cases and historical documents that show his case.

If we can get more people like me to switch sides, it's over for the GOP and their manipulations.

The funny thing is, the teabaggers are such a joke that we can't help but call them names. They're all getting teabagged, teabagging each other, and even teabagging themselves. What's not to laugh about?

And if you don't get the joke, I can't explain it to you.

I'm a liberal and I'm ecstatic about the Tea Parties...

It's a far right psuedo movement created by Fox News and wingnut talk radio that is totally out of step with the American people. This is now the face of conservatism

All we have to do come election time is say: "Look, you want this in office? Is this what you want? Do you really want these loons to hold office?"

This is also an arguement why the MediaMatters names....

Comcast actually had a piece concerning MediaMatters naming Beck the mis-informer of the year.

Should see the number of comments? Most have never read MM by the way they described it so I invited them over to read, debate etc. So did others....looks like Comcast will now be the victim of an O'Reilly boycott.

The post on the right except for most of them here are disgusting. And brain-dead. Example: "I love Beck. He always tells the truth."

Of course, Socialist, Commie etc are thrown around like a tossed salad.

You know the problem is half of those people out there protesting have not did independent research on the matter. They were drawn out the smears FOX Snooze and the right-winged talk radio has put out there. Even other MSM news outlets. Note to tea partiers: Do some adequate research instead of listening to smears and lies!

No point. Tea partiers think that an hour with Glenn Beck is "adequate research." They think that an hour of Glenn Beck followed by an hour of Sean Hannity is Intensive Research.

An hour each of Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly? You're practically a Rhodes Scholar.

Mind if an Irish person gives his view on all this stuff that MMFA reports?

Firstly, I can see why Beck, Limbaugh, Fox News, Coulter etc., are pretty successful, I do understand a little, I mean, regardless how well a president does, people will complain, but not only that, the people mentioned above remind me of a soccer commentator in Ireland. He's not the most reliable commentator, having not been a top soccer player in his time, but he's controversial, I mean, I don't always agree on what he's saying but he says what he means and isn't always as...um...politically correct, as most commentators are, so he's popular in Ireland, sort of a love him or hate him scenario, which, from the outside which I am, is like, Beck Limbaugh etc.
Now I don't agree with most, if not all what those people say, but I do understand that, they're...boldness, maybe is the word, attracts some people who appreciate maybe their...straightforwardness, if thats the word?

But, my problem with it is, its really um...scattergun?, theres not much reasoning behind their attacks on Obama and the gov't etc., it sort of looks like, being controversial for controversials sake, which is sort of o.k, but its saddening because...well, its really unprofessional, and really, touch wood/God forbid, their controversy leads to any unfortunate circumstance, like for example, an attempt on the presidents life, then it would be for me, very depressing.

By the way, I do think you, who especially, generally like Obama, are very lucky, as, seeing as Obama is pretty likeable, it is a lot better than here in Ireland where really, it is pretty much all doom and gloom, you know, no confidence in the gov't or the opposition even, so maybe actually, thats why Obama is mostly liked in Ireland, because he's a hope, he won't make everything perfect obviously, including healthcare, but he isn't this sort of "movie villain" Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity etc., try and paint him out to be.

Honestly, I don't fully believe these people are actually on the radio in America, a part of me still thinks this is just an elaborate prank on me to believe they are "political commentators".

Exactly....this idiot's comment was actually a counterpoint!! Teabaggers = name calling, so they obviously have NO argument..they have called the President,Speaker of the House, and Leader of the Senate every vile thing they could think of except the N-word.They certainly came real close to even doing that!!Fox has no credibilty to just act as if they are innocent citizens being vilified..How Christian of them!!!!They don't even pretend to look at both sides and analyze the comments from Democrats they show in the lead in.They just attack them and really show no substance or understanding of the real issue ..just support your own side no matter how outrageous the behavior and attack the other side as if they have no redeeming qualities or validity.Fair and Balanced ..right??
Teabaggers are right to be concerned about Government spending /deficits etc..but where were they the last 8 years!!!!Do they really care/understand at all about foreign policy challenges.Continued warmongering, tax cuts,no abortion,no gay rights,no immigration seem to be the answers for everything to "get back" their country...Cut taxes, wage wars, regulate nothing..the famous Bush Doctrine!!!Wasn't that successful!!!

Has anyone tried to talk to these people? They shout the lies that they've been told at you and will not listen to facts. When presented with facts they respond by claiming that you're a liberal and a commie. I'd love to sit one on one with a teabagger and calmly go through the facts but that's just never going to happen. They have a mob mentality. They are fed falsehoods and twisted facts so much you cannot convince them of the truth even if it is layed out plainly in front of thier faces. I hope they keep it up, because they've already shown that they can screw up an election for the right in NY 23. If they can keep it up through 2010 maybe the Dems will gain a few more seats in the house and Senate because of it. With 65 or 70 democtrats in the the senate imagine the things that we could get accomplished.

The Tea party movement started in 1773? We fought the British because of nonrepresentation? Fox news has been promoting teabags and tea parties since 1773? What a ludicrous description. If the colonies were represented in the British Parliament, they would have been outvoted on most every issue. The simplicity of this argument regarding the American Revolution indicates a real problem in the way these people think.

These teabag people have no program. These teabag people have no constructive alternatives. These teabag people demonstrate and refer to health care bills as socialism, communism, Nazism. They distrust American government. They would be much more truthful if they had signs that said "we don't like the president; we don't like Congress; and we don't like the recession." But still they're name callers par excellence.
