Healthcare reform is one of the many suicide missions of the republicans.

Keep insulting the messenger instead of defusing the message.

Two-thirds of the country do NOT want ObamaCare. A majority may want health care reform, but please stop saying that the majority wants ObamaCare. That's a lie.

With Republicans +8 in generic polls against Dems, all the Obamamentum is GONE, and the trend will not reverse itself. 2010 will be an even uglier year for Democrats.

Democratic leadership poll numbers are far worse than Republican leadership before they lost power in January 2007.

"Suicide mission" is a harsh metaphor, just like "death panels"...but it's resonating with the country, whether you like it or not.

Millions of people are losing their homes and dying due to a lack of basic healthcare coverage and all insensitive Fox News commentators choose to do is criticize and undermine the efforts of responsible leaders trying to address the problem.
Many of Fox News viewers don't have affordable Health Insurance. What about those people?
Now tell me where Fox News is "fair and balanced"? More like inhumane people to me.

Even though her presentation may be bitchy, Crowley is basicly, and unfortunately, correct. Compromise has produced a health care bill that infuriates both the Right and the Left. The 2010 election cycle will be a disaster for the Democrats.

Personally, I'm thinking about registering as a Republican so I can cast a votes that _matter_ next year - votes against the most offensive Republican candidates during the primaries.

I wouldn't be so fast to declare health reform a lsot cause. If the Dems can reconcile the bill and put some good stuff in it that people like they might just sew up a majority for the foreseeable future. If they don't make it a good bill then she might just be right. Pass a bad bill and R's can say "see, we tried to stop it". It comes down to simple logic, good bill goo, bad bill bad. Me thinks if the Dems screw this up they deserve the whooping they'll most likely get in 2010.
