Dick Morris once again proving that every lie has a kernel of truth.

He lied throughout the segment and then the kernel of truth that it's sad when Health Reform legislation is determined not by the American people but paying back Insurance companies for campaign contributions. Just like Bush, he sees evidence for one thing, and then fabricates evidence to allow him to go completely the other direction.

The "kernel of truth" philosophy is Fake Nooz' bread and butter, so-to-speak. They ALL use it to some degree-Beck, though, is their "Kernel Champion". Inject LOTS of fear then reinforce it with their other trademark: ""THEY" think you are too dumb to know this, but WE don't", and you've got, (as others have noted on this site), a modern day CULT.
Gotta admit though-they know their psychology!!
A telling statement in this clip is the last heard phrase "it's enough to drive people crazy, ME INCLUDED".
        heheee.... ;)

Dick Morris is a totally amoral person so who cares what he says. He has never conducted himself in any manner that would lead anyone to believe that they needed to pay attention to one thing this guy says. For instance, I care deeply about the opinion of folks who conduct their own lives in a moral way. However, Dick does not reflect that sort of moral clarity. He is just not qualified to pass judgment on anyone.

Dick Morris is so far out of reality that he has to lie like this in order to make any comments acceptable to the far right. As a moderate Republican who had to leave the party on moral grounds, and as a Christian, I am convinced that taking care of our less fortunate is the crux of Christian doctrine. That my party bad-mouths and derides this idea says far more about how far off the mark they are than it does about Democrats. So I have had to leave the Republican Party in order to be supportive of a Christian approach to medical care for all. They forget the very command of Christ that says that we are our brother's keepers. I find it far past unbelievable that the Christian Right no longer comments on health care in a Christ like manner. It would be just too, too silly for them to even try considering their negative stand on universal health care.

"Don't you think, Dick, that the American people are sick of this?"

For a second there I thought she was talking about the crapola that flows out of all the talking heads at Fox News.

bilbo, have you ever lived in socialized rationed country? Have you ever been in their hospitals? If not, stay there for a year or two, especially when you get sick...
Our family friend just died in one of those countries, when he presented with symptoms of inferior wall MI, and was treated for food poisoning with gastric lavage. Autopsy was "adjusted" and said pancreatitis (no elevated amylase or lipase levels) with heart failure. Whant more real stories, go and stay there.

I've always said that "news" reform would lead to...

        euthanasia of Fox News "personalities".

Would this be a bad thing?

How do you think goverment pay for the care of elderly, if they are recipients of coffers, not payees and coffers are empty. Goverment wants people to live until retirement, after that they are useless. And socialistic approach to it its "help to decrease the pool of recipients" (except reproductive ones, since they are increasing pool of self benefit assigning voters.

The way I see it, anyone who's worried that health care reform will lead to government euthanasia, might be a drain on the gene pool anyway.

In soc-medicine it depends on financial strenght of the client - no money -euthanized, paying - separate treatment. I think DM has more cash than you, so you will go first :)

Another thing about toe sucking turncoat is that he is prominently listed (by a drunken chyron writer) as FORMER ADVISOR TO BILL CLINTON, as to say, "see, at Fox we're fair and balanced."

Well now, 'lil dick, I'm STILL awaiting the outcome of that great presidential race you predicted between Hillary Clinton and Condi Rice -- so, forgive me for not embracing this "worry", either . . .

Sadly, these same people who made fools of themselves criticizing Healthcare Reform will have to live with that fact when the Bill becomes law.
More SADLY, their pride won't allow them to accept reality, which means these shameless idiots will continue to be on the wrong side of the Healthcare issue.
Therefore we can anticipant more lies, distortions and misinformation.
Dick Morris and Fox News is a*&holes and demons of the highest order.
Folks, now that you know what we are up against: We MUST ALWAYS speak truth to power.

I find it interesting that all of the horrible things that he says the government is going to do to us are already happening, except its the insurance industry that's doing it. Is he saying that it's okay for big corporate monopolies to tell you that they don't care if your going to die but its wrong for the goverment to get in the way of that?
