Hannity would need help reading a thermometer...and then he'd lie about what it said.

As ridiculous as that talking point is, that's exactly why global warming is real, Sean. When temperatures all over the world get too high or too cold, it shows a problem with the global temperature. Just because it's called global warming doesn't mean it's supposed to get warm all over the world and burn us to death.

        "...burn us to death..."

great image...made me laugh out loud. Now sure why, maybe because it is so cold here in the Midwest this morning or maybe because it sounds like a description in a FOX News "Science" segment. Thanks for the chuckle NUTS.

Listen folks, I'm not a Dem or Repub, Conservative or Liberal...just a small town guy with a life that I try to live. I read comments on numerous websites that give me an indication of how many people feel about many issues. I have money & power and I give away both, but it comes back three-fold. In my life, the people who work the hardest, get the most. Learn to live that way and quit bitchin' about us.

It doesn't matter what Hannity, Holdren, or anybody else says...climate change is headed for defenestration in the U.S. Senate.

Cap & trade is DOA, no treaty will ever be ratified, and third world funding will never come to a debate.

Climate change has not been sold well to the American public, and most senators, except those few in progressive states, will not stick their necks out.

The big headline would be when the coward hannity would actually tell the truth and use facts. I'm still waiting for chicken hawk hannity to live up to his promise of being water boarded for charity. Hannity like his fellow hate slingers limbaugh and o'reilly are cowards to the core.

Sure, 2009 could be the coldest year on record if you disregard the fact that 2009 IS SET TO BE ONE OF THE FIVE WARMEST ON RECORD.

Except for the fact that he's 100% wrong, Hannity is completely correct.

Shoot, that wasn't the article I meant to link. My link is a forecast from the end of 2008. I know I read a recent article that pretty much said what I stated, but I can't find it now. As a substitute, here's an article showing that Jan-Oct of 2009 are the fifth warmest on record and here's another stating that November was the warmest in 30 years.

I assumed too quickly that the link I used was the one I thought I was using.

Regardless, the data does prove Hannity to be full of ****.

OK, now I get it.... All climate scientists lie and make things up to push their nefarious agenda, but Hannity tells the truth.

      Got it. Sure. OK.

No need to fact-check at FOX. Just say whatever comes into your mind, and the sheep will follow. Baaaaa....

The sad part of this sad little person's twisted life is that now when we get onto some thread concerning global warming, there will be hordes of deniers claiming that 2009 is the coldest year on record and won't be dissuaded by actual temperature measurement. Yesterday I was on one on the WSJ about controlling CH4 and the deniers were out in full force, all insisting that we are actually in a cooling period. You could show them graphs, point out that if they picked any other year than 1998 as their base point, we would be in a warming period, but no, they just keep chanting that we are in a cooling trend. One of the few reality oriented posters pointed out that at the time the deniers claimed that 1998 was a fluke, but now they insist on using it as their base. Talk about La la la with your fingers in your ears.
