Well, that confirms it... Glenda is in line to succeed El Blimpo as the Propaganda Minister for the GOP... Steele is kissing up to him already.

He's gotta do something to push his new book. Now that most Beck heads have probably finished up Palin's book, they are thirsty for more from the GOP. Plus, it will help them feel very cultural.

No. It just makes him kind of clueless about race relations, and how to attract minorities to the GOP. As evidenced by his awesome quote that, in order to entice black voters to the GOP, he would just "bring the fried chicken".

Conservative is not synonymous with racist. We all need to get past such political labels.

Do you know what Lincoln said about the CONSERVATIVES????Check it out.You have a computer so it is easy ready available to youIf you are not a racist you may not be a conservative.Nearly everyone in USA political history who have made a stand on racist ground, have declared they were conservative making no dofference what political party they belonged to.Would you like to have a dicussion on this matter where we leave opinions out and deal with just the facts?

And a lot of racists in US political history have been Democrats. The point is, you can't judge people as being racist simply because they lean conservatively regarding politics. There are many blacks who are conservative about certain issues.

I am talking about so-called conservative who hide their hate behind conservative,as is being done today as in the past. This also allows hateful people to spy on both sides. The coservatives will always wear the racist label until they call the racist with-in out. This is ironic because most black people are conservative, but live in the real world.Make a list of racist conservative democrats called out by democrats.Make a list of conservative racist called out by conservative republicans and conservative democrats combibed.Which do you think will be the longer list?Do you think a conservative will call a racist conservatine out today??The liars thieves, and hateful people claiming to be conservative have put a dent in the credibility of conservative.

Well, Mr. Steele...if you were an ordinary African-American, Glenn Beck wouldn't bid you the time of day. He feels uncomfortable around people of your color. He's afraid that whatever he says you're going to take it the wrong way.

      But, hey...love is blind, right?

Of course he does. Beck stirs up the base. He says all the crazy things the RNC chair can't (and considering some of the crazy sh!t Steele has said that's really an accomplishment, baby.)

I remember Steele refeering to Limbaugh's speech as incendiary and ugly (before cravenly kissing Rush's behind in apology). I wonder how Steele differentiates Beck and Limbaugh.

You fool. I bet you don't even know that Uncle Tom was a good man, and that Uncle Tom was made into a negative term by racist whites who parodied the good character of Uncle Tom.

Actually, the term Uncle Tom was used by black people, not racist white people, they had other terms for black folks. And it wasn't about being a parody of Uncle Tom, it was about calling people an Uncle Tom who were ingratiating of themselves to white people, and or not standing up for themselves to white people.

Absolutely wrong. Look up Uncle Tom. Uncle Tom was INITIALLY a strong man, with a good character. He even allowed himself to be beaten rather than allow other weaker slaves to be beaten.

Racists whites PARODIED the story of Uncle Tom in plays, CHANGING the Uncle Tom character into a dancing fool and making him a weakling. That is where the negative connotation of Uncle Tom came from.

We could write a book on the history of uncle tom. When a black peoson calls a black person an uncle tom black people and white people understand what they mean.Michael Steel does not qualify to be an uncle tom.I would never call him that. But if that is the term used by someone to describe people like Michale Steel,I understand what they mean. You also know what they mean.If it turns out that Michale Steele has blown the republicans money by directing it to his friends.I may consider him to be a real uncle tom.
