        Hey, nerzog
was it you or the good Colonel who speculated that Rush and his staff try to see how incredibly gullible and stupid their audience is by making more and more outrageous statements? I'm seriously starting to believe that theory now, because...just wow. This hurts on so many levels...

Have you ever met one of listeners/followers? I have and it's not a pretty site. One of them was a cop. Apparently he rides around all day and listens to his hero Rush.

If I had as much money as you, Rush, I wouldn't mind being one of the 47 million uninsured. Since I don't, and I can't afford to go to the doctor, I'm not going to be as excited about being uninsurable and not having insurance.

Are you also leading the way by being in danger of bankruptcy? Are you saddled with bills you cannot pay because of your hospital stay? Are you trying to cut expenses like groceries, fuel, etc. to cover medical bills?

If your listeners who do have good medical coverage follow your lead and decide to drop their insurance to save a few bucks, then get hit by a major illness, or accident, what do you suggest then Great Leader?

So Rush, as a leader, you are telling everyone to choose not to have insurance... even for their children?

And I suppose you will help pay for their doctor bills? Oh wait, you don't believe in helping others, I forget.

I'm sure the other 47 Million uninsure choose not to because they have millions in the bank and can afford whatever care they need.

Hopefully, his listeners will take his advice, drop their insurance and go live with Uncle Rush after they lose their homes attempting to pay their hospital bills.

Flaunting your wealth again, eh, Rush...how do you get away with that? How many of your goober-brain listeners are so independently wealthy such that they do not need health insurance? Must be nice to be Rush Limbaugh...except the part about being drug addicted, unhealthy and without love.

Why can't he "provide leadership" by being one of the millions of Americans who commit suicide?????

Rush, for a man of your wealth, and income level, you would be ridiculously stupid to NOT have health insurance you dolt. And, I'm sure that you don't have a health insurance plan that YOU pay for, but I'm also certain that the company that pays you, also has you on their insurance.

I'm thinking he's uninsured because he's uninsurable, given his history of drug abuse.

Nah, I doubt it. Do you honestly think that Clear Channel is going to let their biggest paycheck be un-insured? Not likely.

Clear Channel probably has an insurance policy protecting them partially against loss of income should he become unable to perform. Kind of like what a baseball club might take out on a high-priced pitcher.

If anyone heard his "Every Democrat holds average Americans in contempt" clip...you would have heard him say that the evil Dems think that average every day americans are stupid and not smart, implieing that he thinks different...
Well, for him to say "if you can afford an SUV then you can afford a doctor..." is, in my eyes, (correct me if I heard wrong) calling all everyday american stupid...
Does he realize that he is not an average american...?
      Can we say, HYPOCRITE!!!!

You'd think being so passionate and gung ho about whatever the F he's cryin about, he would atleast try to keep his rants straight and not self-compramising or hypocritical...

That just proves that there IS false information being spread all over the news, not just republicans or democrats...everywhere!

Can anyone point me in the direction of a news source that is respectfully honest and not just propoganda fear mongoring rating cherry pickers...

And in your ignorance, and in your arrogance, Mr. Limbaugh you lose sight of exactly why it is that you can never truly lead those 47 million. You see, you have a choice about whether or not to carry insurance. Those other 47 million? Mostly don't have that same choice. That's what we're trying to provide, through health coverage reform, so if you were really their leader, really had their best interest at heart, you'd be in the bag for single payer.
"To heck with my wealth," you'd say, "or at least the 2% their proposing to tax away to pay for this. I insist that all Americans are covered by a minimum policy, so they can go see a doctor without fear of losing their home, their savings, or any chance for their kids to go to college." But, you don't say that, do you? You say things like 'death panels' and threaten euthanasia. You are fooling very few.

I almost laughed out loud when I heard the big fat idiot say that if a person can afford a new car he can afford the tests that Rush had done at the hospital! Well that's certainly reassuring! I know I wouldn't mind paying $18,000+ for medical testing. Yep I'll just open the old bill-fold and pay cash! IDIOT! This moron has no clue how the average American lives! Of course when you make 50 million a year paying 18 grand or more is nothing but chump change.
Why does anyone listen to this clown?

I would imagine that when buying a new car most average people take 36 to 60 months to pay for it.

I can just imagine health care in Rush's rosy "you can afford a car!" scenario.

        "I'm having a heart attack!"
"Well, let's talk numbers. How much can you afford a month? C'mon, what can I do to get you into this cardiac ward, today?"

And the "I can pay for it, why can't you?!" logic is obscene. Assume his bills run to $18K. That's approximately 36% of the 2007 median household income (note the 45.6 million uninsured can very easily be fit in the households that earn substantially less than that). We know how much Rush complains about having to fork over 37% of his annual income, right? But we're expected to believe he wouldn't complain was a hospital asking him to do the same?

It's to be hoped that he loses listeners over this cynical attack on anyone who makes less than he does.

Rush, you are self-insured, meaning you have the $$ to pay for ANY sickness that befalls you, besides your chronic case of delusional hatred for liberals and progressive ideas.

That's right, having a nine-figure net worth is insurance, even if it's as simple as paying the hospital with a cashier's check. A truly uninsured person is someone who would be ruined in the event of a medical surprise.
