Victor Colorado, If you think this is bad Giuliani said the exact same thing on "Morning Joe"

Mika Brzezinski asked "What about 9/11"

Giuliani said "We didn't know about attacks on the HomeLand before 9/11"

Now the Extreme Right want to pretend the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center Towers never happened.

And who cares about the Oklahoma City bombing.

I don't know how much more Mis-information i can take.

Speaking of Morning Joe, the day before yesterday Joe claimed that progressives see Yemeni terrorists, gitmo detainees, as victims and all progressives want to let them go home. He then made some childish whining noise to try and prove his pathetic point, that being the favorite Conservative/Republican mantra...Democrats / Progressives are soft on terror and nat'l security....something about how we lack patriotism

Exactly, VC. He flat out lied and tried to rewrite history and these nimrods ALLOWED him to do so. Mika did question him about 9/11 on Morning Joe, and he came up with a load of BS that it didn't count because "we didn't know it was coming." What the heck? It was still a freaking domestic terrorist attack that occurred not only on Bush's watch, but on Rudy's watch IN HIS CITY! These people should be ashamed of themselves.

Sure. All you have to do is

      A) Claim that Bush's Presidency started on 9/12/01, and

      B) Claim that all the domestic terror attacks that occurred in the United States between 9/12/01 and 1/20/09 were not terrorist attacks at all. It's all a matter of definition.

Now, would the Anthrax mail attacks, the beltway sniper attacks, etc. etc. have been called "domestic terror attacks" under President Gore? Is there any doubt?

I live in the DC suburbs- several beltway sniper attacks took place very close to where I live and work. My school was on lockdown two days during the attacks, as three shootings took place within a couple of miles of the campus. Where these shootings acts of terrorism? Strangely enough, we had no question that they were, at the time. But now "America's Mayor" tells me they weren't, so.....

        Oh, I forgot-

        C) claim that every act of violence in the US after 1/20/09 is an act of terrorism. If Giuliani thinks that we've had "one" terrorist attack under Obama, which one is he dismissing- the Christmas failed-bomber or the Ft Hood shooter?

So, for those of you keeping score- Shoe Bomber, Anthrax mailings, beltway sniper= not terrorist attacks. Either Ft Hood shooter or Christmas bomber (but not both)= terrorist attacks.

Yesterday, he was saying that the shoe bomber attack occurred BEFORE 9/11.

I'm just wondering if Rudy has some sort of dementia or something. I mean, just last year, he couldn't complete a single sentence without mentioning the largest attack on American soil in history which was perpetrated not only on HIS watch in HIS city, but also on GWB's watch. I think he needs to see the doc and get a prescription for an anti-dementia med like Aricept of something. 'Course, dementia usually robs a person of short-term memory . . . D'ya think this could just be lying??????

Defending BushieCo, at any level of lying, must be the hardest ahaky-finger thing these trogs do to justify whichever "foundation" or "network" is paying them.

Thie lie is one of the latest. Obviously the memo said "GWB had no domestic terror after 9/11. Pass it on and on and on."

You would think Rudi would have a better grasp of the details of terrorism seeing as he has turned 9/11® into his personal trademark and receives a nickel everytime the words are spoken or printed.

It's easy to lose track of dates and various acts of terror when, to you, every day is 9/11. I doubt Rudy has gone a single day in the last nine years without bringing up WTC, so I can understand his confusion.

In all seriousness, the brazen nature of these attempts to rewrite history is appalling. It speaks volumes about the GOP's respect for their base's intelligence. I guess if your party platform is based on playing down to the functionally illiterate, you can make up whatever history you want.

Guiliani is such a hypocrite... he criticize partisanship and yet he is one of the biggest partisan hacks there is. He praises terroist on trial in NYC when President Bush was in office and denounces it as a horrible threat when President Obama is in office.

And by the way... President Obama didn't say "War or Terror" which is nonsense... he said a "War against Al Qaeda", which is at least an organization that is somewhat tangible. We can't win a war against Terrorist... terrorism is a tactic not an enemy. At least al Qaeda is an enemy.

We are at war. We are at war against al Qaeda, a far-reaching network of violence and hatred that attacked us on 9/11, that killed nearly 3,000 innocent people, and that is plotting to strike us again. And we will do whatever it takes to defeat them.

        WAR ON TERRORISM
1.The phrase "war on terrorism" gained currency when it was used to describe the efforts by the British colonial government to end a spate of attacks by Zionist Jews in the British Mandate of Palestine in the late 1940s. The British proclaimed a "War on Terrorism" against Zionist groups such as Irgun and Lehi, and anyone perceived to be cooperating with them.

Everybody seems to miss one major point. Giuliani claims they can interrogate prisoners endlessly then try them in a military court. A military court operates under the constitution. We can interrogate military prisoners, but not try them. We can try military prisoners, but under the constitution.

There is a very tight line to walk between them.

Real journalism is a thing that's been lost since the days of Bernard Shaw, and many of the CNN hosts and anchors of that time period. All we have now are infotainers who I doubt have ever taken the profession seriously or perfected their craft. Every day these hosts spew nonsense on the public that is so easily discredited, and no one calls them on it. The MSM is just as culpable, and don't expect them to police themselves or call out the disreputable ones. The MSM simply parrots whatever press release someone puts on their desks, without any fact-checking, verifications or follow-ups of any kind. Don't they have researchers? These talking heads are merely signs of what is wrong with media and journalism today. I don't take any of them or what they say seriously, without checking for myself. They're all cut from the same irresponsible cloth that doesn't have much credibility, lack journalistic ethics or integrity at all. Especially with people who are serious about gathering information and making informed decisions. Its sorely lacking in today's news organizations, they're like a cesspool.

Rudy is simply trying to see how quickly, and to what extent he can get away with re-writing history. Remember, just three days ago, he went on Larry King Live and claimed the Richard Reid shoe bombing attempt happened BEFORE 9/11. He also wants to see if he can get the "Liberal Media Elite" to believe the exact opposite of what they know is the truth. Military tribunals produce convictions...(they don't)...and Federal Courts lead to terrorist being released into general population county jails...(Mousaoui, Blind Sheik, Richard Reid, DC Sniper, McVeigh, Al Hamzi, etc) will be overseen by Barney Fife type jailhouse. It's up to you (Media Matters, Think Progress, HuffPo, Daily Kos, Open Left, etc) to expose these FRAUDS!!!
