Now there's some high minded commentary worthy of a mega-million dollar contract. Nothing more fun that watching an angry Rush rolling around in high school level rhetoric

I'm not a Shuster fan, but for a man who flunked out of college after three semesters in which he failed EVERYTHING to call a man who graduated with honors from the University of Michigan and who is currently working toward a Masters Degree in International Affairs at Georgetown University "ignorant," well . . . .

I agree with Rush on this one. Schuster is a joke.

And yeah before anyone asks, Rush can be too ;-)

As I said, I don't care for Shuster and didn't listen to him when he was on Fox [yeah, I used to be a regular Fox watcher, until it became propaganda central], but for an uneducated ignoramus like Rush to call this man ignorant is a stretch.

Schuster was on Fox? I only remember him from when he filled in for Matthews & others on MSNBC. The only program I watch now on that network is Morning Joe.

I used to watch Fox too. Mostly just O'Reilly & some Sunday media watch program [forget the name] & I have tuned in Beck once or twice just to see what all the fuss was about ;-)

Yeah I suppose Rush calling Schuster names is a kettle/pot thing, but if you & I were both drunk & wearing lampshades on our heads, & you pointed out that I was wearing one, it still would be true. ;-)

Being better educated doesn't necessarily mean Schuster isn't still a joke.

Schuster being a joke is only your estimation. That's as far as it goes.

Yep, Shuster was on Fox for 6 years. He was their correspondent who rode McCain's "Straight Talk Express" bus and was their correspondent in Afghanistan during the prosecution of the REAL war to get the folks who attacked us on 9/11. He left in a dust-up with them in 2002. He had lots of very interesting things to say about how the "news" is reported on Fox.

As for the rest of your statements, I will agree only that I don't care for Shuster. He isn't ignorant [unlearned, untrained, lacking knowledge and education]. Ignorant would describe Mr. Limbaugh who is an unlearned, untrained, uneducated ignoramus who lacks any real knowledge of anything except how to scream loudly enough on his radio program to make money. The sad thing is that there are many ignoramuses who listen to him and believe his BS.

      WOW!
According to Rush here, it was because of pressure from people at MSNBC and the ACLU that Bush/Cheney released the two Yemen detainees who were behind the attempt at blowing up a plane on Christmas.
A remarkable admission by Rush that Bush/Cheney would endanger the lives of 200 passengers on an airplane over US soil just to appease a bunch of lefties for political reasons.

From Rush's own blubbering mouth, it was folks like David Shuster of MSNBC who swayed Bush/Cheney to release detainees to Yemen who in turn radicalized and trained the underpants bomber.

Says @DavidShuster on Twitter: To Rush Limbaugh: thank you, thank you, thank you. You've made my day... I love it!

Joke, ignorant, or whatever, man has a decent sense of humor about himself. I like that.

so Shuster and the ACLU persuaded Bush/Cheney to free detainees to Yemen to attack the US on Christmas? Is Rush saying Bush/Cheney caved to a bunch of lefties to release terrorists to attack us on Christmas?

Rush seems to forget that many of the people who were held at Gitmo might never have been terrorists if they had not been held there under harsh conditions extralegally. There is a lot of evidence that many of the prisoners there were there because of political vendettas.

It is a sad sad affair, especially if one of these men end up killing Americans.
