Katrina: It took Bush so long to respond that Cuba called offering aid.
Haiti: Obama is ahead of the game, already promising aid to recover from this disaster in the poorest country in the Caribbean.

Limpballs, I'm gonna explain something that is probably obvious to most of the {sane} world, but apparently has skipped right past you:

Whenever an attack, either successful or attempted, occurs, it is usually standard procedure for public officials to wait for the results of an OFFICIAL investigation, at the very least an initial one, before making a public statement, so as not to appear uninformed or give out inaccurate information.

In the case of the Haitian earthquake, it was already readily apparent what had happened initially, and the President took the time to express condolences and offer assistance.

In the case of the Xmas Day bombing, it was NOT apparent what had occurred initially, which is why Obama was in contact with those who were investigating.

This is in keeping with the President's reply to a reporter last year about the delay in his public comments regarding to large bonuses paid to Wall St. CEO's: "I like to know what I'm talking about before I speak."

In other words, the opposite of what you do . . .

With the possibility of upwards of 100,000 killed you bet the President should say something! Rush Limbaugh is the most unfeeling self serving S.O.B alive. By the way Rush would it break your stone heart if a country like Venezuela should offer to help? After all commies have to stick together. Conservatism be damned!

Well no one died in the Christmas "attack" and Obama was on vacation at the time (it was Xmas, after all.)

This is what you get when you allow a man to get away with murder. Rush has said many things that was imflammatory, racist and stupid and somehow keep his job.
Now we have a monster in our mist, a monster created by the system that let this dangerous fool hide behind the first amendment.

What was the sense of urgency to respond to the idiot on the plane. He was captured and only burned his own genitals. 100 of thousands of human beings are either missing or feared dead, so ofcourse some one needs to react and respnd quickly. To bad Bush and FEMA didnt react the same way when katrina struck on US soil. Rush you are an idiot, you are blinded by your racism, and hatred for black people.
