A number of trolls post here, and one of their favorite hobby horses is how much more money conservatives give to charity than liberals. Here ya go, folks: Rush Limbaugh exhibiting conservative charity at it's very finest. "I already gave." No, you're thinking of the Dominican Republic, Rush. I understand how they all look alike to you.

Consevatives will shell out any amount of blood and treasure for war. Billions to kill you none to feed you. What about the Shah Rush? Rememeber a guy named Mossadeq? What about Pinochet? It seems people like Rush convenietly forget about democrati cally elected leaders who were ousted by the U.S. when they would'nt play ball the way we wanted them to and replaced them with dictators instead. Maybe that is why Hugo Chavez is hated by the Rghties so much.

Maybe we could give the earthquake an Arabic name. Then they'd have no problem with contributing to its eradication.

Well, conservatives will shell out any money of taxpayer blood and treasure for war, but they do their utmost to avoid taxes personally, so... they're all about "I've got mine, and I want yours too" and not so much about Matthew 25:35. They thump their Bible, they don't read it:

Ahem...churches don't get government money to do relief work? Bullsheeet... After Katrina many of the churches who came down here to New Orleans and helped out had been underwritten by federal funds courtesy of Karl Rove and Bush's Evangelical faith-based initiatives.

I just this minute came up with an idea for a hierarchy. As follows:

      Help an enemy.
      Help a stranger.
      Help a friend.

      Screw an enemy.
      Help a stranger.
      Help a friend.

      Screw an enemy.
      Screw a stranger.
      Help a friend.

      Screw everybody.

      Kill an enemy.
      Screw a stranger.
      Help a friend.

      Kill an enemy
      Kill a stranger.
      Screw a friend.

      Everyone is an enemy.

Rush seems like he's pretty close to 'Screw everybody' level. I only say that because he is busily thinning out the ranks of the moderate Republicans, and beginning on the conservative Republicans, leaving only the wingnut Republicans. He honestly endorsed Sarah Palin's book as the most substantive policy book he's ever read.

      News flash!!!!

Rush Limbaugh is sick again, but this time he needs to be admitted to a mental institution.
With death and destruction a clear and present issue in Haiti, this insensitive dehumanized monster still has negatives things to say.
You can not convince me this is normal behavior for a civilized man.
We have a responsibility to see to it Rush gets the psychological treatment his condition deserves.

Rush has shown his true self today - when Haiti's great humanitarian needs should be the format of his program, he instead uses it to spread more hate among our people. I know this is a changing point for myself, I will do everything in my power as an individual to discredit this man and those that believe in him and his ideology - the time has come.

You know, I'd like to consider myself somewhat mature, sensible, polite etc., obviously with flaws and have done bad things etc., but overall, not the worst guy going, but honestly, if I ever ran into this guy, unair and deplorable as it may be, I'd certainly spit on him before anything else.

Rush Limbaugh must be incredibly talented and simply brilliant!

How else can I possibly explain his seemingly infinite abilities to consistently win this game of moral limbo? I mean no matter how low I set the bar of expectations, the man finds a way to show me that it's indeed way too high. Godspeed sir, I fold. You are the victor.

On another note, I wish he would have informed me sooner that I'd already given to this unforeseeable disaster through my federal income taxes...no telling what the Red Cross is going to do with my donation now.

Limbaugh says, "[W]e've already donated to Haiti. It's called the U.S. income tax"

If you look ignorant in the dictionary, it would have Rushie's face for the definition.

If he only knew the history of how Haiti has been under oppression from higher classed countries including the U.S. That is why most higher classed countries are helping Haiti mostly the U.S.(Not just because of a natural disaster.) To help a poor country is supposed to be done, but how they got oppressed is the fault of those same higher classed countries and what they done towards Haiti. Of course Rushie will never donate any money, if he does PIGS FLY!

Rush Limbaugh has got to be one of the most despicable (sub)human beings on the face of the earth. These comments are among the worst I've heard in a long time. People, who are among the poorest in the world, are adding yet another terrible chapter to their lives of untold suffering and this monster can only see it as a vehicle to again attack the President. It's no wonder that so many Americans (in a poll taken during his hospitalization) wished that he would "not" recover. The word "evil" does not begin to describe him.

Really nice work there Rush, unveiling that if you donate at whitehouse.gov instead of with the Red Cross your money won't be going towards Haiti at all, but right into Obama's deep, deep pocket! Not to mention they'll probably stick your name on a mailing list register and bombard you with mail long afterwards! Excellent work.

Oh, wait, the whitehouse.gov site in question simply links straight to the Red Cross website, where the actual donations happen. No money is actually being sent to "whitehouse.gov" at all and you don't need to give them any information whatsoever.

Nevermind then. Guess you're still just paranoid scum.

Generally, I am one to tolerate those who have opinions that differ from mine. However, I have had enough of Rush Limbaugh's and Glenn Beck's ABSOLUTE stupidity. In no shape, form, or fashion do we already donate to Haiti via our taxes. Limbaugh and Beck can kick rocks. If we donated enough, maybe Haiti would not already be impoverished. How can these two media personalities take advantage of ANY and EVERY situation and attempt to make Obama seem like the bad guy?? Okay so maybe the "Christmas bombing" was an issue but it didn't devastate an ENTIRE country. We are talking about people who can't find family, who have no way out, and can't afford the basics to LIVE. His attitude/statements leave a serious amount to be desired. How dare you claim to be a Christian and speak the filth of a complete wretch?? To be Christian is to be CHRIST-like. The golden rule is to treat others how you would like to be treated and the Lord says "The least you do unto my children, you do unto Me." If Rush EVER gets the chance to feel what he has dished out, I hope for the sake of his lying, backsliding, inappropriately commenting, self-serving, selfish, apparently unintelligent soul, the Lord has mercy on him. He is obviously delusional.

Did any of you actually listen to the excerpt? Did he say anything in there that people shouldn't help or that he wouldn't? NO. In *context* he was speaking directly to the suggestion that individuals, like him, give money to the GOVERNMENT to help Haiti; LOL!!!! Yeah right - the gov't that can't manage its own affairs but now wants me to trust it with even more? I don't think so. You really have to have a mean hateful streak in you in order to twist what he said into meaning that he won't give anything. But I guess that's the way the liberal mind works; pity.

      Someone needs a little reminder....
      Daily Bible Scripture - 1 John 4:20-21
"If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother."

Thank you for this scripture. It was needed. Are people trying to understand each other with intellectual dialogue or just trying to make themselves feel better? How many people here who say this gave any money, or are they expecting their taxes to be their contribution. Shame, shame. Please let me know if any of you did give a personal donation of more than $5.....

Ditto on the Church Tax. Now, not only are we allowing churches to build multi-million dollar monuments to themselves with tax-free donations (the money which otherwise would be used to pave highways and build bridges, and that Jesus, himself, prescribed to help the less fortunate), now we are piling on even MORE money for them to say: "See, our God cares about you more than your God."

Seems Neo-Cons forget all about the free market when it comes to their God. Suddenly, the free market is shunned for governemnt handouts.
