. the lights are on, but no one's home
. not the sharpest tool in the shed
. dumb as a brick and twice as thick
I'm sure there are more...
Meow, Meow, Meow :? Are there cats posting here? I thought I heard a few. Her hair is the least of her deficiences, although
she will probably go more blonde if she stays at Fox.
Ailes likes 'em light.
Tell your daughter not to worry, epk. 'Cause, if I know Sarah, this job won't last long . . .
I envision the cameraman pulling a dollar bill out of his pocket and pointing to the picture in the middle of it and Caribu Barbie having that invisible light bulb going off over her head just before she finally answered Washington's name...
Check out Idiocracy or the short SF story "The Marching Morons".
"6 million people surveyed. Name a founding father."
"All of them."
"OK. But we need a name. One name."
"Ummmmmmmmm. George Washington?"
"Survey says?"
--Actually, Glenn, I prefer it grilled, in the summer when 'ya get out there, and 'ya---
--No, no, founder, not flounder.
Caribou Barbie sizzles with the Rodeo Clown.
Here, Beck served up an easy pitch that anyone could have hit out of the park. Pick one, anyone. There is no wrong answer. (We'll there wasn't a wrong answer before today). Just stumble and then say all of them.
And then to go on and on about Washington. And how we need someone like him. Someone who doesn't want the job. And Beck knew he had set her up and she failed miserably and he gave her a hand back into the boat at the end by saying that Washington was his favorite too.
What a pair. A match made in hell that's for sure.
Your comment is asinine, by the way.
And, as Rush Limbaugh pointed out, the ultimate founder of all things liberal...
...HIS MAJESTY SATAN!
In other words, Fox uses Glen to bring in people hoping they will stick around for Ailes' propaganda machine.
I do give credit to Mike, though, he was one of the people who formed the PBS Video sales back before many movies/tv shows were available.
/back on topic...

Mike Nesmith was a member of the Monkees, he did not form the band!
Just to be " Fair and Balanced "
BTW, I don't believe I saw anyone mention that Paine was a "Founding Father"; however, you are incorrect. Thomas Paine WAS a Founding Father. You are confusing "Framers" and "signers" [two subsets] with the group as a whole. Thomas Paine is considered by most historians to be in the larger group known as the "Founding Fathers." Sounds to me as if you are learning your history from that great, self-educated historian, Glenn Beck. I'd find a better teacher.
Apparently his views on Christianity and the Bible made him less popular in later decades.
Beck and Palin I mean of course
You could tell she had no clue who the Founding Fathers were! That's hilarious. So she tries to duck out by saying "All of them" but Glenny doesn't realize she's clueless so he demands that she name one. You can almost hear the gears turning in her head. "The Founding Fathers? Who the heck were the Founding Fathers? Think Sarah think!" So she comes up with the easiest one of all--George Washington. Whew that was close!
Gee I sure hope she is our next President. We need someone with her intellectual depth. >ROFLMAO<

Support the War! Raise Taxes!
This thread makes you all look like a bunch of idiots that waits for mmfa's cue and you all run with it. Oh wait, that can't be. That's what you accuse Beck listeners of doing. Just sayin'....
I'll agree that she actually gave a name, and actually substantiated it a little, but it was light, slight and trite.
Just for starters, since Beck has his own television show does he know that the purpose of an interview is to allow the audience an opportunity to get to know the person being interviewed. This is done by asking interesting questions, not by talking about oneself and one's beliefs and then asking the person what they think. Put a stop watch to the interview and I'll bet Beck talked more than Palin.
And, just a general observation...Beck is clearly insane.
This morning I heard one of the "hip" conservative talk radio hosts (Dennis Miller, the guy with the dyed facial hair) talk about how Sarah Palin isn't stupid at all.
That should be on her campaign posters: "Sarah Palin: She's not as dumb as she seems".
No, her answer wasn't THAT bad. I look forward to on FNC. I'm confident she will be THAT bad in the future.
So the "who's your favorite founding father" question could lead to trouble. If you liked Adams more than Jefferson, that could say volumes about your political ideology.
But, as Ronald Reagan so wisely misspoke once, "Facts are stupid things."
D@MN Again!
Let's go back in time!!!
Palin: I Read All the News
D@MN SHAME!!
Nothing. Except, may be her new hair style.
We shouldn't call you a troll. That's wrong. You shouldn't tell us we love despotic murderers either.
beck,"Who's your favorite founder?"
palin, " glen, that is a good question, mmmmm, lets see... Franklin had a unique view on goverment , Jefferson was strong on civil rights... Addams,.. John or Sam..mmm....Washinton.was a HERO of the War...I would have to say my favorite founder, is Reagan, He Rocked!!"
Hey seaweed, it just makes you look stupid when every entry you have on every subject comes back to he same mindless chatter. The adults are trying to speak. Go put on your Gordon Liddy pj's and your Palin talks U.S. history CD and let the adults have thry're now time.
Just because you hate a majority and not a minority doesnt make you any less of a bigot!!
BTW, I have a Southern accent and I find your comparison of me to you a bit disgusting. We are making fun of Beck and Palin because they are ridiculously stupid human beings pretending to know what the hell they are talking about . . . neither of whom have "Southern accents" nor do they belong to any "majority" except Caucasian Americans.
Well go to any right wing or conservative website and read the comment threads there. Any one of the sites....it doesn't matter. You will read relentlessly hateful things that make the angry b!tching at this site look just dull and snarky. We have read them, and that is why many of us are so angry.
And did you catch the entire interview - the parts where Palin and Beck both said they could not care less about the names people call them? And you grown ups here are acting like a bunch of kids at the school playground. Calling the other kids names. Ok, I know one of yall are going to call me a redneck trailer trash and I will tell you ahead of time. Sticks and stones may break my bones but calling me a redneck trailer trash will never hurt me. Time out!
Nah.
