      Mind boggling...absolutely freakin' mind boggling.

What deepens the divide, Glenn is the creeping insanity in this country...of which you are the prime example.

Mind-boggling? Or a deep-seated need to stave off his descent to Fox News' second-biggest 'star' now that Barbie's in the house?

I think Glenn may actually believe the old adage, "I don't care what the newspapers say about me, as long as they spell my name right."

Sure, Glenn's idiocy hasn't worked out so well for FNC's ability to exploit his ratings numbers with ad dollars, but it got Glenn the cover of Time.

Again, I'll say, YOU PEOPLE MAKE ME SICK! The only people who are "dividing" this country are a**hat, racist haters like YOU, Beck. If people are SOOOO divided, why is it that donations to relief organizations to help the people of Haiti are breaking all kinds of records for donations? Sounds to me like the people of this country are UNITING under the President's promise to help. GAG!

Nine million dollars have been donated via text message alone. At $5-10.00 each, that's a whole lot of "divided" people coming together to help their neighbors. I'm telling you, somebody needs to find today's RNC talking point memo. These guys all are saying the same things. Can't be coincidence.

Because, and I do believe this firmly, that no matter how our country thinks, or how much it is politcally divided, something like this happens almost anywhere in the world, we, as an entire country, come together pretty quickly, and help out as much as we can.

Donating small amounts of money from lots of people? Check.

          Doing telethons for Haiti? Check.

I think it is times like these that show the greatness of America frankly, and ALL of its people.

Stephen Colbert devoted an entire section of his Thursday show to Haiti, with his guest Kathleen Sebelius (HHS), including how to text $10 in relief at 90999, enter "Haiti". (I suspect that's more time than Faux News)

Beck wants as many Haitians dead as possible, that's why he opposes a swift American response to help earthquake victim. In Beck's world, helping people in a time of dire need is actually a wedge issue.

Only in Rightwing Bizarro World could responding quickly to a tragedy like a 7.0 earthquake be a bad thing.

And he makes this event analogous to the President spending time to make a decision about the appropriate course of action in Afghanistan?

Hmm.....maybe we should help Beck with this one.

First, we know what causes earthquakes, Glenn.

Also, the two situations are very different : one needed investigated to see what happened and how the terrorist got on the plane and the other need no investigation as to cause.

      Pretty simple really.

There I was, sitting at home...

I hear of the devastating earthquake in Haiti. Thousands upon thousands of people injured or killed. A staggering tragedy. They are desperately in need of help.

The President of the United States offers all the help he can as quickly as he can.

By that act, according to this alleged high school graduate, he has divided the United States of America.

I have heard countless ibecilic statements made over the years and will hear many more, but it will be very, very hard to top this one. And as for those of you who feel "divided," well, I guess I have to ask you what you felt the death toll should reach before we offered a helping hand.

Outside of those relegated to eating with a spoon so they don't hurt themselves, who doesn't recognize this?

As far as i can see, Americans are unanimously in favour of giving Haiti all the support they can - and props to them for it. Those who disagree are the few wingnuts, psychos, and geriatrics who believe that a fire in your neighbour's yard isn't a crisis in your own home.

The election of this president, all terror-related activity, the health care debate, Harry Reid's poor choice of words - and Haiti - only reveal divisions that were already there. Jah be praised that the greater number of Americans seems always to be on the side of decency and righteousness.

These guys take every opportunity no matter how insane to attack this president. Tell me what was the President doing when he ordered the shooting of the Somali pirates saving our American captain. Oh, that right Limbaugh criticized him for that too.

"...He mockingly called the pirates "merchant marine organizers," and said "imagine the hue and cry had a Republican President ordered the shooting of black teenagers on the high seas."

"If only President Obama had known that the three Somali community organizers were actually young black Muslim teenagers, I’m sure he wouldn’t have given the order to shoot. That’s the correct way to look at it. If only Obama had known."
