It's wrong for anyone, good looking or not, to attack anyone else based upon the way they look.

We shouldn't attack people for things they can't control - the color of their skin, their sexual orientation, etc. We should attack people based upon their behavior - that they control.

Unfortunately, this is typical of the Right. Remember, Ann Coulter does it more than any other right-wing political commentator, and then derides any liberal for doing so.

I believe if they stuck to the issues, they know they'd lose. That's why these attacks.

Making fun of someone's appearance (or its twin, cllaing them names) is always the last resort of someone who's been unable to convince people of the rightness of their own posiiton.

Very true, though it is usually the first resort of Limbaugh. His ditto-bots eat it up and Rush takes it to the bank - playing his gullible audience like a Stradivarius.

I live in Massachusetts. Scott Brown has run a better campaign than Martha Coakley. No doubt she thought this would be a cakewalk. Now she's doing some eleventh hour scrambling.

That being said, Rush didn't need to poke fun at her the way he did. Totally unnecessary & classless. Yeah I know, it's Rush being Rush...

I have to point out, Jeter, because I like to give credit where due, that you are proving to be a reasonable fascist Nazi wingnut. You actually live in Mass., and aren't frothing about this race like the more zombified fascist Nazi wingnuts.

Oh, and you managed to get through that post without mentioning the World Champion New York Yankees. Geez, you never shut up about that.

BTW, I rarely froth, I'm more of a drooler...

Sadly, he gets a lot of female callers who seem to love himf. I'm sure they're heavily screened, but they coo and purr about what a great American he is, and how sexy he is. It triggers my gag reflex every time.

I'd love to see a psychological profile of these sycophantic twits.

There are those woman out there who "coo and purr" at them but I really wonder if he was there asking them to marry him would they really find him that attractive? I think a lot of it is nothing more that a continuation of the "theater-of-the-absurb" that Rush Limbaugh has become. Some of these woman are probably just trying to keep up his cred with the woman for political ends.

Simply said, someone as ugly as Rush Limbaugh really shouldn't comment on someone else's appearance, glass houses and all. Not that I'm some super model, I ain't, but then again, I don't deride people on their appearance on a national radio show.

Rush is right in that Brown has done far more work to win this election than coakley has done. Martha seemed like she would just skip campaigning and just assume a win. Wrong place, wrong time for that. She has been a terrible politician so far. Most of us know there are few if any al queda in afghanistan right now but who in their right mind would actually say there are no terrorists in afghanistan during a campaign speech? Even if there are not, most people dont actually realize this, we are still fighting a war there and it just sounds bad. We all know brown is just another BS repug and coakley's track record is even more liberal than obama's so despite her lack of campaigning, i think a coakley loss can be blamed on pres obama and the democratic congress for running the worst debate in american history - this entire healthcare thing is a complete debacle right now. They have never had the support of the right and they have succeeded in alienating the left completely by ripping out essentially all of the reform.
