      "Bring it on, Dan."?

Just the kind of professionalism one comes to expect from Glenn Beck.

"They have to rally the base! They'll be back!....They just have to whip up into a frenzy their base and and find the enemies..."

Bawha Ha Ha! That sounds exactly like what Glennie is doing with the Teabaggers! You remember, the astro-turf group that you nurtured on venom and sent screeking into the streets and school gyms of America? And I don't see that many Obama Administration types on Keith or Rachel. So, how exactly are they stacking the deck against you? Once again, just because you have higher ratings doesn't mean that you are a quality news organization or a better person. It just means that you have brain-washed your followers to the point where they will believe whatever drivel you spew on them.

It's amazing how many people actually take the side of Fox on their argument involving ratings. If someone who is conservative wants to hear a point of view similar to their own, then they only have one cable network to watch. While people who don't want to hear a conservative view throughout the day can tune into multiple channels. While Fox has the lions share of conservative viewers, other stations must split the remaining viewership. Like you said, high ratings doesn't equal quality news. It doesn't equal quality television. If we were going to use that argument to validate quality, then Jersey Shore must the quality television at its finest. That show has proven to be a comical waste of airtime but it would likeley kill many of Fox's shows in the ratings war. So am I to assume that any political views held by Snookie or "The Situation" from Jersey Shore should be equally weighted or weighted heavier than those held by Glenn Beck?

You are talking about the cable viewer arn't you.
The main network's audience, though losing about a million viewers a year since 1980, still exceeds the cable numbers by quite a margin.

Tell me what liberal enthusiasm these networks have ever supported. Outrage over Scotter Libby walking free, domestic wiretapping without warrents, ending our military use of torture, WMD anyone, any rational discussion of Al Gore and his worth to the country.

I suppose Glenn does have a point. Fox doesn't need credibility to stay at the top of the ratings. Like anything else (movies, magazines, etc.) spectacle sells, and that's what Fox offers. Narrow-minded, hate filed spectacle. And maybe they won't be hurting if the White House doesn't communicate with them, since their audience hates the administration anyway. But I have to believe it will catch up with them eventually. Because if they continue down this path without any consequences, there is no faith left in society for me to have.

OK - let's all "bring it on".

Write letters to whatever radio stations in your area carry Glenn BEck's radio pukefest. State in the letter that Glenn Beck's program is filled with lies and misinformation, and that the station's carrying it is not in the public's interest. By law. all radio stations must keep all comment leters they receive, and those letters are reviewed the next time their station license comes up for renewal. If enough people complain about a station's programming and they don't change their programming, they may run the risk of losing their license.

I can't wait. Pfeiffer says he'll refute all the "false" statements made by Beck ans FNC. I've been waiting for the whitehouse to reply to Beck for months. Their silence just proves that Beck is telling the truth!! I know a lot of you southpaws don't/won't believe that, but look at the facts- of EVERYTHING that Beck has said NOTHING-let me repeat NOTHING has been refuted. If I were accused of half of what the WH is accused of I'd surely be saying something. But their silence speaks loudly. The truth is the truth!!! It can't be refuted!! Sorry Pfeiffer. Grab your framed picture of Mao,the one that Dunne left for you, and wallow in your silence. In the meantime you want to read something called the U.S. Constitution. And when you're done pass it around the WH. They all might learn something!!!
