Then again I, Mr. Dateless, have plenty of room to talk about relationships...
This man isn't a conservative and he's laughing at you folks who are defending him here on this site. He cares about only money and fame. Your blind loyalty to this man is quite frightening. You don't even understand that YOU are the ones he is laughing at . . . you believe his crap, so he just keeps shoveling more and more and more. Beck doesn't scare me, but you guys do. Have a good one. Oh, and I hope you don't miss Beck tonight for your daily dose of BS.
Parse that out and explain it.
i can't stand little beck. my comment was that this site will take anything and twist it into something that it is not.
People suffering from psychosis are said to be psychotic.
People experiencing psychosis may report hallucinations or delusional beliefs, and may exhibit personality changes and thought disorder. This may be accompanied by unusual or bizarre behavior, as well as difficulty with social interaction and impairment in carrying out the daily life activities.
Certanly sounds like Glenn to me.
What if Rachel Maddow said, "Men are psychos"?
Just imagine the explosive reaction that would generate from Limbaugh/Hannity/Beck.
Do you have a sense of humor? Have you lost the ability to laugh at yourselves?
MMfA - turning a funny story into an issue.
Wow, you folks HATE this guy!
Nice try, though.
You folks have a selective funny bone.
If Glenn was know for the occassional satire among his in depth analysis of current events, it might be different.
Since just about every show is about a conspiracy theory, etc he shouldn't be taken seriously except for those "millions on millions" of viewers, who take him at his word.
Show me a left wing pundit that spews this kind of hate and I will denounce him too.
Wow, you and Beck HATE women.
Do you wake up angry everyday?
William Ray "Bill" Engvall, Jr. (born July 27, 1957) is an American comedian best known for his work as a stand-up comic and as a member of the Blue Collar Comedy group. In 2007 TBS began airing his sitcom The Bill Engvall Show. He has released multiple comedy albums on Warner Bros. Records as well.
Glenn Lee Beck (born February 10, 1964) is an American radio and television host, author, conservative political commentator, and entrepreneur. He is the host of The Glenn Beck Program, a nationally-syndicated talk-radio show that airs throughout the United States on Premiere Radio Networks.
Looks like a false equivalence to me. One is a commedian, the other a political commentator.
If I were to compare Jon Stewart to David Brinkley, as if they were both reporting the news, it would be the same as what you are trying to do.
There are plenty of male comedians who do a 'women are nuts' schtick. And everyone laughs...men and women.
Again, your sense of humor has been stolen from you.
If I were a right wing radio hack I claim that 'the Progressives' stole it from you! LOL
Actually, I fully understood what you meant.
You may find Engvall's humor funny, I might not.
Beck is not a comedian.
I don't even need to ask any of the women I work with how they feel about something like this, since they have pointed out already that they feel this type of "humor" is inappropriate.
BTW I laugh at the right and the left all the time.
I think my sense of humor is fine.
He hates women
He hates kids
He hates blacks
He hates Haitians
He hates animals
He hates America
He hates the earth
And because he isnt a 'comedian', he isnt allowed to say anything with satire, sarcasm, irony or funny.
Thanks for clearing all that up for me!
You guys are so open minded, thanks for helping me see reality.
Oh woops, that may have been sarcasm, not sure if that is allowed, I mean I'm not a comedian....(door is open...come on, make your joke!)
Best wishes.
And it perfectly acceptable for Olberman the left hero to call Sen Brown a
Beck's sense of humor clashes too often with his attempt at sincerity. If he is going to be humorous about things, he should be calling himself a comedian. However, if he is going to try to be funny in some segments, serious in others, and downright venomous in others, then he is no longer a comedian.
That's the main problem. If progressives and liberals take his words to be serious, then he claims they are humor. However, if conservatives take his words to be serious, he treats them as serious matters.
He has to call himself a comedian or call himself a pundit. He can't be both.
What would you call Bill Mahar a comedian or a commentator?
Would you call Wanda Sykes a comedian or a commentator?
How about Whoopi and Joy Bahar?
(I'll also note for the record that I've never found any of them funny in the least.)
My point is, you shouldn't be.
It prohibits Congress from making laws abridging the freedom of speech.
Neither I nor anyone else that I know of is suggesting such a thing.
My advice to you: Read books.
Can you tell when they are being funny and when they are being serious?
Okay, perhaps I should revise my words:
Beck has to call himself a pundit. Because his humor sucks.
That better for you, my Maine man?
Q-2 : If it works for you it works for me!
2nd - No one would care.
Almost 10 million people a week buy the National Enquirer. It is probably more accurate than Fox "News" Comedy Channel.
Brown was just elected, and already he's gaffed.
If Beck is suggesting that Brown was a doofus for making that statement, he's right, but he's generalizing and stereotyping when he declares that "women are psychos".
Now, put down the toilet seat and take out the trash.
Your hatred has blurred your hearing.
FYI, disagreement is not a synonym for hatred. Hatred is a very, very strong emotion. Throwing it about as a synonym for disagreement weakens the meaning of the word.
Your 'disagreement' has blurred your hearing.
Puppies are psychos too
Hey, check it out. Beck is real. His message is real. And the people who watch him are real. The left is phony. Wake up left. Get it right. We vastly outnumber you even though you whine louder.
My use of the word "vastly" was was not limited to merely conservative and liberal. You (as a liberal?) can't wrap your arms around "moderate" to bolster the numbers if you are far left.
So I should have said "Far Left and Everybody Else".
Check out Rasmussen now, "Right Direction, Wrong Track". Or Gallup, especially as it pertains to the economy then plug in the my use of the word "vastly". That's more the comparison I was thinking of rather than simply liberal and conservative.
Obama ran a pretend, more middle of the road pleasing campaign. That's why I voted for him. He's way more to the left than I imagined. My bad. Now, a lot of Independants are waking up.
But back to Beck. Anyone who dismisses everything or even most of Beck is a Progressive. More people are also waking up to what progressives really are.
It's wise not to take any media's account as gospel. But at least with most of Fox, at least they aren't wetting their pants every time they interview Obama.
Which is why McCain is president.
He was on a rant. While most men would agree in different aspects about women. It is their opinion period. Does that mean to rant about it over the radio. NOPE! It just means to keep it to yourself, and talk in private. Now Brown talking about his daughters was a dumb@ss comment.
Becky just enjoys ratings to please his corporate bosses so they can continue to give him millions for talking nonsense.
It's what matters, people.
On the other hand, he did make one comment about Scott Brown, something about a "dead intern" in his future Now that was a bad thing to say.

really liberal blogs couldn't hit lower than this. seems that the recent loss was too severe in Massachusetts you don't have anything left but to put something out of its context :D
Beck could read his grocery list on the air and mmfa and all it's cult members would find something to whine about.
See, f you've been monitoring Glen like I have, you begin to sense a pattern sometimes. The pattern I see with Glen Beck screams out "That Man Has Serious Undiagnosed Mental Heath Issues"
There's the conspiracy theory and his chalkboard of insane nuttyness, there's the fawning over Sarah Palin, there's the racist comments, the inane ramblings, the thinly veiled assassination suggestions he makes to his wing-nut viewership from time to time; These are not the things that sane people do.
To be fair, there's a lot of mentally ill celebrities who are undiagnosed or just plain in denial about their illness. Glen Beck is certainly not the first crazy man who has his own TV show. What's sad here is that his handlers at Fox News are exploiting this mentally ill man for their own purposes instead of helping him to seek professional help for his condition. It's just sad, really.
Yeah....for those of you without a sense of humor, that is sarcasm.
