Glenda made a tactical error when he said that Democrats were like Satan. What ever subsequent nonsense he pulls out of his arse now pales in comparison. He should have saved the Satan Card for next October, right before the Elections.

Doesn't matter. Glenn constradicts himself within the same sentence and his supporters don't seem to notice. He says today it's Obama's intention to destroy the economy and be all radical... Yesterday on his show he was concerned that it was the people around Obama that are influencing him... Which is it? The answer: Does it matter- It makes him look bad... If facts were the issue, Glenn wouldn't still be on TV.

You're right, of course. I was trying to apply logic to the illogical. Thanks for bringing me back to reality.

Becks supporters are mainly under educated, with a limited I.Q. They are closed minded and and highly susceptible to brainwashing, and are told to only believe the lies on Fox News. To his viewers, everything that Becky says is the gospel truth, etched in stone.

You know... I would like to write them off like that... God knows I would... But my own aged parents are HUGE fans. I have spent more then one night arguing over what is real and what is one of Beck's delusions... And my parents aren't uneducated! That's really what disturbs me... I wish I could just say they are crazy, ignorant wackos, but I really have a hard time putting my parents in that group...

I disgree, the Satan Card right before elections usually dont work. Case: Ronald Wilson Reagan still became president after people pointed out late in the game that his first, middle and last name equal 666. You have to play the Satan Card early- give people a few months to take in the info LOL

Barack Obama isn't a radical revolutionary. He isn't even proving to be very liberal. He is doing what he has always done, trying to get along and get the Conservatives to work with the Liberals by giving the best stuff to the Conservatives. This worked for him in Law School; it was how he ran the Law Review. Unfortunately for him and for the nation, the current crop of Republicans wants to say no to everything that they don't put together and push through themselves. He needs to play hardball and quit being so nice to the them...and he needs to remember the people, like me, who voted for him because we thought he would be liberal. As to liking a President who doesn't blow torch the Constitution, yes, I agree with that. Where was he when Dubya was doing just that? He didn't seem to mind, then, but he can't show how exactly Obama has done this. But he hates him, just the same.

Ummm, Glenn? George III could have made the argument that a select group of gentlemen who had gotten a bit riled up over British taxes and tariffs were "radical revolutionaries" trying to "intentionally collapse the financial system."

wait, let me get this straight, so obama is going to destroy the financial system?? did this process start when he extended tarp money to help "save" the banking system?? the latest "blow" to the constitution was the "patriot act", not to mention the constitution bending anti drug laws under reagan/bush that preceded the patriot act. beck always talks about what obama is "going" to do, never what he has actually done. he's a fat republican chicken little, if chicken little made millions of dollars to lie and scare people with a chalk board.

Hey Becky Obama is not a radical revolutionary! Anyone who gets elected to government office will be a puppet of the corporate influience. THE SAME CORPORATE INFLUIENCE WHO PAYS YOU TO SPIT NONSENSE OUT YOUR MOUTH! Until someone get BALLS to tell corporations to F off corporate influience will continue in this country of preadatory capitalism. Opps can I say Global Preadatory Capitalism.

Wait a minute, yesterday glenn was saying how he wasn't sure if obama was a revolutionary and prayed that obama would move more to the center. Did the revoltuionaries that surround obama already brainwash him over night? If, so...damn, that was fast (sarcasm).

I once read, on this site IIRC, something along the lines of which may have been the liberal version of this paranoid conspiracy theory, except that it fits the facts far better than this one does.

Bascially, the Right wants to do away with ALL entitlements. Privatize EVERYTHING. Shrink the gov't down to almost nothing. Now... They know they could never win running hard against Social Security, Public Education, (etc...) and pretty much everything else the gov't provides. They know that they could never get the votes to just eliminate these things outright. BUT... if they ran up deficits so large that the gov't could barely afford it's own financing costs - it would be their proposal to eliminate all these things, versus the Democrats (assumed) proposal to raise taxes. At THAT point, the public might finally come around to eliminating all these "expensive programs that we can no longer afford" (thanks to the RIght and their huge deficits!) And that's really why the Republicans have done nothing for the last 30 years but run up huge deficits and huge increases to the national debt every chance they get: THEY'RE ACTIVELY TRYING TO BANKRUPT THE GOVERNMENT SO THEY CAN FINALLY GET THE SUPPORT TO ELIMIANTE ALL THESE OTHERWISE POPULAR PROGRAMS, OUT OF [FAUX / CONTIVED] NECESSITY!

And the more you think about THAT, and the more you compare it to their actions and their rhetoric since 1980, taking into account their history of both hypocrisy and projection... the more sense it makes.

Not that I'm paranoid or anything. Tea?

I've been thinking the same thing myself, especially since he started invoking Cloward and Piven. Thomas Frank makes a similar arugment in "The Wrecking Crew" but he doesn't mention Cloward and Piven. He rags on Grover Norquist.

I just read where the Supreme Court rolled back restrictions on campaign donations by corporations - so much for campaign reform.
