It was (still is) on the front page of foxnews.com and was reported on not only Special Report but the program previews during commercial breaks.

Diamonds, I have a question. If this little criminal [already proven to be a criminal with his spliced and overdubbed, illegally obtained ACORN tapes] had been a "liberal" operative attempting to wire John Boehner's federal office, how much coverage do you think there wold be on Fox? Your arguments are weak. They are handling this quietly because they are the ones who PROMOTED this little criminal's illegal activities. I'm sure he was expecting to be treated as a hero by them once again. They PROMOTED him, diamonds. He's a criminal . . . just like those Fox "contributors" and honored guests, G. Gordon Liddy, Ollie North, Chuck Colson . . . I could go on.

Spliced and overdubbed? Not even ACORN says that. They admit these things happened and let off those workers, they said they launched an independent investigation to see what happened! Those videos are real like it or not.

If it had been a liberal activist undercover in an unsuccessful attempt to get into a senator's office (and someone who isn't leadership like the house minority leader, that changes things), probably about, eh, a two minute story. Maybe (no, surely) commentators like O'Reilly or Beck would cover it differently because it surely would tie into the Obama administration somehow (Watergate etc), but they aren't reporters.

I'm thinking that Fox's legal staff has told them to handle this with kid gloves. They promoted this little criminal's previous criminal activities to the hilt. Like I said, I'm thinking that Fox is being very, very careful right now.

It will probably get the same coverage with the an equivalent amount of positive spin as they gave negative spin to the okeefe video. Either way, I cant wait to see the o'keefe behind bars interview!

Does anyone really think the GOP'S version of Pravda (sometimes call Fox News) is going to cover this change of events. please.

Not sure. Most of the time it's on in the background and I just see the headlines at the bottom of the screen.

Ah, but MagCynic, what do you suppose would have been the response if this little criminal had been a "liberal activist" who attempted to wire the office of John Boehner? They would have had one hour programs with a panel of "fair and balanced" Fox contributors roasting this little criminal over an open flame.

Admit it. Fox is trying to distance themselves from the little criminal [his ACORN activities were criminal, also] that they elevated to a folk hero . . . probably on the advice of counsel.
