I haven't hung around with hardly any racists or bigots, so I won't challenge that Olbermann might be right with the 'code words', but I sure do know that it's inappropriate for legit news personalities or commentators and pundits on news channels to be using those kinds of descriptive words. One should accurately describe behavior, and keep one's own personal biases from coloring one's opinion to such an extent that you call someone who is President and who is acting like a President should act "arrogant" or "cocky" or say that he's a "jerk" just because you don't like his politics. And that's what these people who called him those names did after the SOTU address.
What you have to remember is to neocon punks like Stossel and Glenda, liberal is a dirty word. It's their "n" word, so anything liberal must be squashed. Unfortunately, they are so arrogant, they believe themselves above reproach and untouchable. They swagger in the GWB manner, all cocky and whatnot, and act like jerks. If they want to make my political belief into a swear word, I'll act as they do if I want to.
See how their methods are? Plus, we have the extra added bonus to ask "Would they talk this way if Obama was a white man?" They certainly didn't with Clinton.
We are waiting Mr. Stossel.
