Bertha Lewis had nothing to do with O'Keefe not getting a lawyer, and nor did Eric Holder! That's a ridiculous allegation that is solely made to smear someone else to declare that O'Keefe is a victim, instead of a villain.
Four defendants, none of whom knew their Miranda rights?????
The father of one defendant is a United States Attorney . .
Couldn't he get his father on the phone??
I mean, basically, any 10 year old who watches enough TV can recite the Miranda rights. And it only takes a basic understanding of English to know what those rights mean.
If i put on a Telephone Tool Belt & Hard Hat & walked into Minority Leader Boehner's office?
If i started picking up his office phones, if i asked where the Phone Junction Room was and actually entered that room?
If i Communicated via Walkie-Talkie to a Co-Conspirator in a vehicle outside?
Umm, "Bond, James Bond, i prefer my Martinis Shaken not Stirred"
Try Re-doing this scenario above but instead of a Telephone Repair Man, let's replace him with a Law Abiding American Citizen with a Turbin on his head.
Mr. News
Is Brietbart is complaining about Letten's treatment of his pet, James O'Keefe? Better talk to David Vitter about that, Andrew.
The Shoe Bomber Richard Reid did not receive legal counsel until 12/28/01
12/28/01 -- First appearance through counsel as to Richard C. Reid .

james o'keeke did not get legal counsel for 24 or was it 28 hours after his arrest..........
JUDGE !
SET JIMMIE FREE!...... SET JIMMIE FREE!...SET JIMMIE FREE!...SET RICHARD FREE... ...PuckNo!... Let them both enjoy free FREE ROOM AND BOARD on the Federal Dime !
An affiavit from a Federal Officer outlining the fradulent crimes of O'Keefe which details suggest a "Watergate" like scandal is no reason to start throwing around accusations that there was wiretapping.
However, the fact that O'Keefe was in jail for more than twenty four hours, somehow suggests, with absolutely no proof at all, that a much greater conspiracy involving ACORN, the U.S. Attorney's office, and Eric Holder, and he can trumpet these ridiculous allegations as loud as he wants.
You reminded me of one of my vacations. We were in L.A. in 2002 or thereabouts indulging my passion for Art Deco architecture, and we were outside a Federal building that had the old War Department seal instead of the Department of Defense, so I snapped a picture and got talked to when we went inside. Yes, Uncle Sam doesn't take kindly to picture taking on government property. We have to be careful even during office parties.
Maybe the folks are actually taking pictures of the Museum of Barbed Wire next door... ;>)
To prevent him from getting into the act, Breitbart would have to name the other conspirators--US Congress, NATO, US Army and Air Force, and the Federation of Starfleet Command.
Are you kidding me, Fox? I mean, REALLY, this is totally lame.
Fair, balanced, and irony free! Hannity should be in rare form tonight.
I bet he will say and I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for those:
Pesky kids and their dog too!
Breitbart, on the other hand, seems perfectly impressionable by fellow conservative media star G.Gordon Liddy, who really did do officially-sanctioned dirty work in the past.
Calling his employee Borat Jr. will not help. He's 25 and works for you, does this mean he's fired? BTW I just read that O'Keefe's mini-skirted Acorn accomplice is now a paid employee of Not So Breightbart too. Isn't that interesting?
His other accomplice Stan Dia the "Penis Monologues Guy", is also and interesting case.
I love this story, keep it coming.
I don't think seahawks has any idea what he is talking about.
O'Keefe gets caught in the act, knows his rights and invokes them immediately (instantly?). The Feds, having the authority to hold him, lock him up.
How soon should O’Keefe have been released? What is a reasonable time for the federal government to deny a red handed saboteur the inability to communicate with his attorney?
Does anyone think that seahawk has any idea how long Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab was in custidy before he invoked his rights and “lawyered up”?
Instantly?
Even before the "Unpatriotic Act" the police could hold you for 72 hours on suspicion and not charge you or give you a phone call.
So, the fact he didn't get a phone call before they booked him is normal. If they haul you in on a Friday night, you may not be formally charged or allowed a phone call before Monday.
Breitbart: I'm not going to get into the "details" of whether he is guilty. (That's because I'm trying to spin this as hard as I can)
(IMHO, it's beyond nuts that the President has not at least begun to replace the Bush holdovers, many of whom were picked to replace other Republican prosecutors deemed by Harriet Miers (read: Rove) to lack sufficient loyalty to Bush II and Atty. Gen. Alberto Gonzales.)
