You stupid D-bag, this is the office of a U.S. Senator...it's not the "people's office". By your thinking you would be free to assualt the White House under false pretenses.

BTW, O'Keefe...PLEASE keep talking. I'm sure your lawyer is very pleased with what you are saying publicly. I can't wait for your sentencing hearing, buddy...

Since he brought it up, to "pose as something I'm not" has nothing to do with investigative journalism.

But then, O'Keefe is not a journalist - he's a dude who likes to wear costumes while filming himself in odd situations. Where I come from, we call that creepy.

This defense only works in a court of public opinion. In a federal trial the argument that it is, "the people's office," will carry absolutely no wait.

This may play well on Sean Hannity for some, but a first year prosecutor would have a field day with such an argument.

Does this kid or the clowns at Fox even realize the poop storm that is about to befall him, which was solely his own fault??

Does Cluster Fox really think that by giving this knucklehead free time to speak is going to somehow save him?

This is getting funnier as each days goes by.

The only question which remains... how many years does he ultimately get?

Fox News knows exactly what is going to happen to him. They're going to let him on FNC, and let him give his sob story about trying to help the people. When the Feds convict him, FNC is going to claim that the White House was out to get an individual who was trying to expose the truth about corrupt government and that the White House wanted him silenced like all of their other critics.

The sad part is that many of the people who watch FNC are going to believe that crap even though it is and will be a bold faced lie. You know that Beck is going to have a field day with this no matter how it turns out because he is going to do a stupid little dance. He's probably going claim that Obama is Che and wants to overthrow the government and that O'Keefe found out, but Obama wanted to silence him.

"The People's Office" Does that mean you and your crew just get to walk in, sit down and make yourselves to home? Excuse me, I work in a government office, I am very aware that I serve the people, but that doesn't mean that just anybody has the right to come and plop themselves down in my chair and whack on my computer or check up on my phones. My customers deserve privacy and respect. I am quite sure that Ms. Landrieu's office was answering phones as quickly as they could, but they did say they had been jammed for a couple of weeks, that doesn't mean they weren't working. It means that so many people were calling that it was hard to get through. There is a difference.

      Genes of a feather...

The more I read and hear and see from people like O'Keefe, the more convinced I am that conservativism is at least partially based on genetics.

Happily, whatever genetic transformation that helped humans evolve into rational, honest, caring animals is dominant in a majority of the population.

There may yet be hope for those like Jimmy - stem cell research.

      Oh, wait....

The problem with the idiots here on Media Matters is that Democrats are the filthy liars and the only people accepting million's of dollars. Republicans are the only ones who don't cheat their people and spit in the face of greed. Jame O'Keefe is exactly doing that. Going after Democrats only because investigative journalism calls for that kind of unbiased journalism.

Moments later I wake up in a cold sweat only to find out that it was all just a dream.

No, they Senators arerepresentatives of their State and NOT the country. I don't think O'Keefe is a resident of Louisiana, so Landrieu does not represent him.

And the people should be able to record phone calls of their government. Just like the government should not be allowed to employ surveillance on us, we should not do it on them. We should advocate for openness and demand a right to know what our elected officials do and where they get their funding

If O'Keefe and his pals wanted to prove there was a problem with Landrieu's phones, they could have filmed themselves in the comfort of their own homes, calling the number and getting repeated busy signals.

They wouldn't have had to dress up as the Village People and make up stories to the staff about ID badges that were "in the car".

        O'Keefe isn't a journalist, he's a wannabe actor.

He's a criminal. He's proven that in his illegally obtained ACORN videos and now with this ridiculously illegal stunt. Fox doesn't seem to care about people who commit illegal acts. Several of them are Fox "contributors."
