Yeah. We don't need big brother to take unsafe cars off the road. The free market will take care of it. Once enough people die no one will want to buy those cars anymore.

If the President or his secretary came out in support of Toyota, I have a feeling that Rush and his pals would call the President un-American and dangerous for allowing them to sell an unsafe product in our country.

Of course they would. I think they are always ready with 2 responses depending on what the opposition does.

Heaven forbid the government look out for the welfare of the people by urging a foreign company to fix their unsafe product. Rush doesn't even know what he's saying anymore it seems. He appears to just be talking out of spite at this point.

If the Obama administration "went after" Hummer, I would expect the Trogs to be upset.

But here, Limbaugh is defending Toyota -- a foreign company best known for selling hybrid-powered cars to people who believe in global warming.

In other words, Limbaugh is willing to take the side of people he routinely ridicules -- global warming believers -- so that he can continue his crusade against President Barack Obama.

This is so intellecutally dishonest, even for Rusty Limpballs, that I think it's time for him to pack some Viagra and head to the Dominican Republic for the weekend.

Exactly. The right is shedding even the APPEARANCE of being anything but contrary. Conservative policy is 100% decided by whatever Obama proposes. Even things they supported right now could be abandoned today if Obama were to propose it.

Republicans have no ideas. Not a single one.

I'm pretty sure if Obama came out tomorrow, and said he was going to extend the Bush tax cuts permanently for everyone, they'd bash him for that too. You can bet your last dollar on it.

They are being contrary, just to be contrary. Even when Obama presents ideas that conservatives normally salivate at. Somehow, it's not good enough, or not right.

Like taking on Toyota. I would think that these REAL AMERICANS would be proud of their President, taking on a very strong foreign car maker, but instead, they're on Toyota's side? Never thought I'd see that, even though Toyota, is on OBama's side, as in, they think that they screwed up too.

This is another Troglodyte Talking point that has circled the globe at the speed of light. Our local Hate Radio Troll was reciting the same foolishness this morning, word for word.

Understanding what they read? Not so much.

Toyota made a faulty product and will pay for it through many product liability cases. Obama has nothing to do with the products that Toyota is putting out there unless he has all of a sudden become an auto worker or a pedal design engineer.

No it was sabotaged by one of those damned Unionized Amercan auto workers in order to discredit their non-unionized brothers working for Toyota.

Nope it is much simpler than that, these are Toyotas that were manufactured here in the states and those good un-unionized automobile factories.

Hey Fishgirl... The US Government has safety regulations for cars and can pull an entire brand of cars off the road if they are proven unsafe. And can you guess who is in charge of the government?

El Rushbo just refuted what he said earlier about Obama being stupid if he's not an ideologue. An ideologue wouldn't care what happens to the American people as they drive their cars on those socialist streets/highways. El Rushbo doesn't care what happens to people in their cars. He is focused on scoring political points for republicans. El Rushbo is a blatant ideologue, and he is stupid.

Toyota should be gone after because of the sub-standard construction and the lack of concern its leaders showed towards the situation, something that Rush doesn't understand. I guess he would blame it on Obama if people started to die from poor products that a private company knowingly constructed as well if that were to happen.
