        What just happened?

Apparently, that particular FoxBot got in contact with some real people and suffered a bout of temporary sanity...

I know it's OT, folks, but now that the Saints have won the Super Bowl after Obama said he had a "soft spot" for them, who do we think is going to be the first right-wing shriek-bag to claim that Obama fixed the game? Beck would be a good bet, but I'm playing it safe and going with Rush--"First he prevented me from buying an NFL franchise, now he and ACORN have literally fixed the Super Bowl. Black Sox Scandal 2010, anyone?" And the sockpuppets will be here shortly thereafter parroting the claim...

Drudge has a link this morning:
KISS OF DEATH: Obama predicts Colts victory in Super Bowl...

And of course wingnuts need their FALSE talking points spoon fed to them so a few trolls have been on HuffPo this morning callin it another Obama failure

Indeed! Now mind you, just about every single so-called "expert prognosticator" had picked the Colts, but when non-expert Obama goes along with them, that's another Presidential failure!

It's sort of along the usual lines they take regarding Obama--he can be the bumbking idiot and the evil-genius manipulator, all at the same time. He can both be the idiot (for picking the Colts) and the evil-genius manipulator (fixing the game). Maybe they'll say the SEIU was flashing lights in Manning's face to cause him to throw the game-deciding pick-six...

Didn't he have a moment of sanity during the 2008 campaign when he walked off set due to the constant Obama bashing? I'm sure tomorrow he'll be back to joining in the bashing. After all, it's not like he's Shepard Smith (the real voice of sanity at FNC).

Coming from a woman who did know what a VP does, that Africa was a continent, think that the earth is only 6,000 years old, humans walked with dinosaurs, and did not know what newspapers or magazines she reads before political discussions.

Only because in front of the whole world she was caught using crib notes. It is insulting to think that this vapid airhead thinks she can be on the same par as our president. The whole Teabag Movement is based on selfishness and hatred and is completely devoid of substance.

I have a serious problem with that statement about Obama being "the guy with charisma and a teleprompter".

Palin was looking down at her notes and/or speech during the entire clip.

Isn't SHE a person with charisma and a teleprompter in a way? That's the only way I imagine her speeches going if she were to become President.

These right-winged, neo-conservative Republicans made the 'teleprompter' an issue cause "rich" folks use 'teleprompters' and "middle and low" income folks (like Republicans) use written speeches and notes in their palms. LOL.

See, Palin and her family are multi-millionaires like most "middle and low" income folks who are the real Americans. Wink, wink. LOL.

Sean Hannity devoted a good chunk of his radio show to daily snarks at the teleprompter "issue," going to absurd lengths to do it- I've heard Hannity talk about Obama "loving" his teleprompter and "getting into bed with it."

When Hannity has worn out the teleprompter bit, he moves on to "the Messiah" not being able to take "people disagreeing with him." Take a few calls, promote the next "Freedom Concert," and another day of "work" is done.

Hey FoxNews, we did NOT expect to see the former "Republican" VP Candidate of 2008 (who "LOST"), or the former "Republican" Alaskan Governor (who "QUIT"), or the "Republican" politician who can see Russia from her house (Hee, hee)... Hmmm, wait a minute. These three people are ALL the same one person and that's Sarah Palin.

So, the news at FoxNews was how Palin criticized Democrats and Pres. Obama at the Tea Party. Wow. Of course, the majority of Americans didn't see that coming from a Republican that criticized Democrats at co-sponsored event held by Republians and Tea Partiers. Who would have thought? Uh, oh. LOL.

Did Gretchen just say that Palin's speech was the best she's done since the republican convention? are you serious and why no mention of the fact he was ill-prepared yet having foreknowledge of the questions to asked during her let me look at my paplms fiasco? i dont give any credence to Kilmeade's attempt at his mild rebuke of Palin referring to the president as " a guy " when in fact on fox n friends he's been referred to as much worse...so get on with that phony concern from Kilmeade....Palin gave as bad a speech at a convention as i've ever seen, nothing but talking points and mis-information that the right will not call her on just dreadful.

I agree it was a horrifically bad speech, especially given the fact that she was paid $100 grand for it. Unfortunately, the red meat crowd doesn't see it that way. Palin could stand up their and recite the Koran and they would think she is the second coming - and this from the folks who say we idolize Obama. It really is enough the make you either laugh or throw up in your socks.

who has the keys to air force one
not a law profesor (leading the contry) talking at the stand

Again if Ms. Sarah was the pilot of the plane called America would you would want to go on a 4 year ride without a parachute?
I want a leader (pilot) to know what all the pedals and knobs and yoke do and how to make them all work. Yes pilots have a written down check list. And if the pilot who flew before them crashed the contry then by all means remember that and do not follow the previous flight plan. Please!

Good. It's good to see Fox respect the office of the President for a change. The teleprompter thing is unbelievably stupid (every Prez has their speeches written out) and Palin's popularity is dependant almost entirely on her looks so she is really not the one to be making that criticism of the Prez.

Wow..what a change? This is the closest I've ever seen Fox come to showing respect for this President. Its almost hypocritical to even hear this rather mild attempt at balance after the things they say at Fox everyday direspects both the President as a person and the office of President itself. How many times has he been called unpatriotic,a terrorist or terrorist sympathizer, community organizer( or community organizer in chief),etc etc on Fox.How disrespectful was the "talk to the school children" fiasco? The repeated bow -gate criticism..the BOWING and SCRAPING comment by Bret Hume.. To me he might as well have said the President acted like the Black character Stepinfetchit from the 20's!!
Theylie and act so innocent when criticized.Last wek Roger Ailes was so revealing in his defense of Fox!!Lie and ignore ...then lie... play dumb and then lie some more!!!
