Is he in a race with Limbaugh to see who can make crap up faster?

Sorry, Sean. I know reality is tough because we don't live in Hannity's America but you have to get your arms around it.

The "fraudulent, phony" falling unemployment rate which comes from exactly the same source as the rising unemployment rate gleefully reported for months by Sean Hannity? That one?

Hannity's pulled this crap before- polls are to be highlighted when they show bad news for Obama, ignored and called "fixed" and "fraudulent" when they show good news for Obama. Nothing new here.

actually hannity is sorta correct that the unemployment rate is wrong, just not in the way he is portraying it. because it does not account for people who have given up looking for jobs so the real rate is much higher and people have been saying such for a long time.

Using the same formula that was used under Bush, Clinton, etc-- it is incredibly dishonest to start using a "more accurate" measurement now, just so we can bash Obama, unless the unemployment rate over the past twenty years is also updated. But Hannity would have no problem telling us that the average Unemployment rate under Bush was 7.5%, while under Obama it's 17%, without explaining the new measuring method. Like telling us that the deficit has exploded under Obama by including the figures being spent on the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, which were never included in Bush's deficit.

yea i think i remember bush's time when they stopped counting bodies that had not worked for a certain amount of time- then came o'bama and they dusted off the real number as stuck it to him. hannity. clown. (anti-semite clown btw)

You're right. By my estimation, the unemployment rate is probably closer to 15 precent. They do not count people like my wife who has been unemployed over a year, or those that have been out of work for longer periods.

Obama's just a puppet and Hannity is a clown (his show appeals to 8th grade mentalities, mostly). When are we going to get over these fake little feuds that Democrats and Republicans pretend to have to make us think they're not working together to f--k us over?

Oh blithe of you, you seem to be above it all, without acknowledging the damage that people like Hannity does to this country. Obama was elected to do, Hannity is paid handsomely to bring it down. It's easy to say they both bring us down, but who is doing it more?

Sean, those numbers came from the Department of Labor. They were done the same way under Reagan-where the official unemployment rate was at 11% and the unofficial rate was about 20%. Reagan is the one who gave us all these deficits, they started with him. He set out to collapse the government and to get rid of entitlements by making them too expensive and you guys canonized him for it! And now that a Keynesian is back in power, and the Keynesian approach is the only one that seems to be working, you are crucifying Obama for trying to deal with a broken economy! Sean, you are such a tool, battery-operated, vibrating, plastic tool!

If sissy boy wants a dose of reality I'll gladly trade jobs with him. I'm working in Ohio while my family is back home in Austin, TX. This was the only job I could get, I've been here since October. I've been gone now going on 5 months and I've seen my family 5 days in that time. What does he want before he and the rest of the unrepentant right will take notice - pure misery and suicidal thoughts? That'll earn what - a "here's a dollar, you shiftless bum, you should have been working hard like that all your life"? Even in charity the right are the ugliest people I've ever come across...

SNOOPY, I hope your situation improves soon, as for that jerk HANNITY, he is happy that he has his $ and dosent have to worry about losing it so he can continue to be the inconsiderate a$$ hole that he is.All he cares about are his rich friends and where his paycheck is coming from. He tries to pass himself off as an average joe, but fails miserably.

BTW, the media reports this all the time . . . they did it during the last administration, also. Guess you aren't keeping up.

"analysis" by hannity is disputed. His assertion that the numbers are fraudulent for unemployment is without any foundation. His idea that only certain elements count in the GDP number is again specious reasoning. Of course we all know that the unemployment figure does not include workers who have stopped an active process to be employed. Hannity accuses the President of fraud, which is the reason thisitem is here. It is misinformation slanted beyond all elasticity.

Obama "is fixing" the numbers . . . that's my point, dave. Obama is no more "fixing" the numbers than Bush did. Unemployment numbers have two different meanings. There are the folks who are still receiving benefits and there are those who have been unemployed for so long [like my best friend] that they drop off the unemployment rolls.

Were you or Hannity bemoaning the fact that Bush was "fixing" the unemployment numbers? If you weren't, then why are you doing so now? I was . . . where were you . . . where was Hannity?

Actually this method of reporting the unemployment rate goes back to the Reagan era. It was also the Reagan administration that started counting people who had joined the military, but had not actually reported as being employed, eventhough they hadn't started.

Since Klannity is not held accountable or responsible for his lies and distortion over the airwaves, why stop making up things?
These people have absolutely no honor for their "profession" or respect for the president.
I wouldn't be surprised if Sean Hannity and Karl Rove wrote Sarah Palin's hate sppeech delivered at the misguided Tea-Party convention, all so known as a lynch mob rally.
Palin repeated all the GOP dispelled talking points President Obama addressed at the Republican conferrence.
By the way all of Republicans talking points origninated from lies, that's why Obama was so successful against them. But all of this was lost on Sarah Paling and the man who wants to see her become president: Bonehead Sean Hannity.
