      What an idiot. A record warm winter in the Pacific Northwest and record blizzards on the East Coast and he still shills for the corporations that want to dump CO2 at will. He knows his argument is paper thin at best but the guys who sign his paycheck push him onward. No concern for the future of our planet and the environment that our children will inherit... Just a blatant love for money that blinds him (and his followers) to everything else.

      Five years from now, the argument, "Hey, there's no global warming! Remember like 5 years ago when it SNOWED that day?" doesn't really hold any weight.

      So there's one good thing about this particular line of logic. Although by then it might be too late.

      Of course. It's all Al Gore's fault because no scientists were warning about global warming until he won an Oscar and a Nobel. Except they were. Classic 'shoot the messanger' scenario. And Gore isn't in hiding because a winter snow storm somehow disproves global warming. Only an idiot would believe that.

            I think seaslug just had the Rush LImbaugh macros installed on his computer. He never seems able to read the items or other comments, or respond with anything but zombie-like talking points .

        Seahawk... nobody on this site is a climatoligist (at least I doubt that there is one), so taking anyone's opinion on this site is purely that... an opinion (and often uninformed one)

        You mock those here that make claims about what climate change because regardless the premise, the outcome is the same... I understand that and feel the same way.

        But, you should realize that Rush saying that Global Warming is a hoax because of a snow storm is equally ludicrous.

        Read about Climate Change (like the link I gave above) and maybe you wouldn't have such a knee jerk reaction. It's pretty complicated and there thousands of scientists working on improving the process, improving the models. They'll make mistakes on the way and everytime they do the right will use them as reasons to discard the entire field of study.

          I think the ignorant loudness of the Denial Cult has numbed me a little. I have to take a step back to really appreciate the idiocy of Rush here.

          Just look at the words he's using, the "nail in the coffin". Science isn't something that can just be ignored by the faithful, it must be destroyed.

          And Boss Hogg's rebuttal against the overwhelming scientific evidence ? Al Gore doesn't magically appear anywhere in the world where it's snowing. This is some of the most unskilled propaganda I've ever seen.
